Never have I ever had such pleasant dental experience. Dr. Scales and all his staff are by far the best ever. I highly recommend this practice to all. You won't be sorry. Love them all.

The rudest dental hygienist I have ever encountered was at this office. She not only spoke to me as if I was a child but was condescending, demanding, raised her voice to me and reprimanded me. Plus the way they conduct business felt like they really were just all about the money. They never addressed the main problem I went there to have addressed. Left with a "care plan" for over $3,000! What has happened to all of the good old fashioned dentists who actually care??

I had a wonderful experience today at the office of Island Dentistry,it was wonderful and I loved everyone there and they treat you with respect.

I’ve been going to Island Dentistry for several years now. I don’t see myself going to any other dental place. The services there are exceptional. The place is always very clean. Friendly, friendly, friendly staff. Always making you feel welcome. I would highly recommend anyone to go there for their dental work.

Moving across country it is difficult to obtain new doctors and dentist. After researching reviews I decided to try Island Dentistry and I'm so glad I did! Dr. Scales is terrific as are the hygenists! Highly recommend!

One of my kids saw Dr Marino this morning for a filling - he is patient, thorough, caring and has a wonderful personality. Amanda was our assistant today ~ LOVE her sweet disposition and personality, she was a great compliment to Dr Marino. Wonderful experience. Thank you.

I would highly recommend Dr Scales to anyone needing a crown. I had my crown completed in 1 visit. Dr Scales uses the latest technology that actually carves the crown from a block of material. They take a digital 3D picture of the tooth before and again after it is prepped and the computer renders the crown. They make adjustments to it on the screen and show you what it is going to look like (it is all very cool).

After that, the machine carves the crown, they fit it, cure it, then bond it to you tooth and you are done. There are no rubber tasting impressions to make, no plastic temporary crowns that pop off every time you eat and no return visit to have the the "permanent" one put on. I have had other crowns and my experience with Dr Scales was by far the best.

My visit was very pleasant. As far as the Dentist can be. They were taking every precaution to protect people that came in. Everyone was professional and I was out in a reasonable amount of time. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

Very nice and comfortable reception area surrounding the office. The Office staff is friendly, Hygenist are exceptionally polite, cute to. I moved to Jax in 2007 by 2011 one of Dr Scales’s patients referred me to him. He is a very talented sweet Professional Dentist, with years of experience. His mannerisms are immpectable, while at times he may crack a joke, he never misses making you smile, that is his trade mark, taking care of ALL your dental needs, well that is his job.

Should you have a more serious dental problem of any kind, he refers you to the best experts, in their field.

I went to Island Dentistry in the past and loved the staff and the care I received there. When I retired and had to purchase another dental insurance, I had to go elsewhere for dental care, and I was very disappointed. I had to wait a year to change my dental plan, but when the year came to a close, I found out what insurance I needed to purchase so that I could go back to Dr. Scales' office. I am back now with a staff that I love and trust.
