I am the toughest customer when it comes to dental work. I am an older adult but in the dental chair I am once again 5 years old and scared to death.
Dr. Scales and the staff at Island Dentistry have given me what I used to think was impossible: a truly pain free procedure of removing decay, prepping, making and installing 2 crowns.
Even the injections were totally comfortable. ESPECIALLY the injections - this is the first time I can tell you they were pain free! It ALL, the whole procedure, was pain free!
Dr. Scales and his staff all listen and are super attentive and gentle to the patient the entire time. Angela, the dental hygienist in my initial visit, was also skillful, caring and put me at ease and I felt actually relieved to be there getting the best care possible.
It was clear to me that I could relax and totally trust them. I still prayed the whole time but this time I included constant "Thank You's" to God for having me in this particular dental chair where I was being treated with total excellent skill and care.
Island Dentistry uses up to the minute equipment and techniques, create the crowns right then and there, and when you leave the entire process is complete.
I am pleased and amazed to share that I am going to go back soon for my next dental procedure and I am not worried about it one bit.
What wonderful gifts: exemplary and pain free dental care with this amazing, caring staff and no need for anxiety.

My first visit to Island Dentistry was very impressive! From the moment I walked into the office, the staff knew my name, knew it was my first visit and took time to explain the procedures to me. Everyone there made me feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Scales, Sarah and Jada were very thorough and spent time explaining what they were doing. They gave me time to ask questions and answered them completely! I have a second visit this month and I referred two of my colleagues to Dr. Scales and Island Dentistry as soon as I returned to work.
