The dental hygienist Sharon did an
excellent job in cleaning my teeth, &
was calm & friendly. Dr. Jazayeri, my
dentist, listened to my complaints
about the sore mucosa inside both
cheeks & on the gingiva above my
upper teeth. I wondered if my retainers that he had ordered for me
were irritating those areas or whether
the soreness was related to specific
or generalized anxiety. He did not
think that another brand of retainers
would give me much relief, but he
suggested wearing the upper retainer
one night & then the lower retainer
the next night, etc. etc. to see if that
would help me. He showed me compassion, & mentioned even
another idea if that idea does not
work.
