Dr. Hughes is so wonderful and knowledgeable, not just about his profession, but also about day to day living. To add the staff is incredible!!!! I would highly recommend checking them out.

Great dentist: they are fast and friendly. The dental hygienist did a fantastic job. It’s been more than a week and I still feel a huge difference.
I’m not sure why people are leaving one star reviews about their pediatric dentistry. I don’t have children, but even I knew they don’t allow parents back with their kids from the new patient paperwork. Gotta read the forms you’re signing, people.

Dr Hughes and his staff are excellent at what they do. My entire family uses them and it’s always a good experience. The staff is very personable and make you feel very comfortable under their care. The office is very nice and the dental equipment and practices are up to date and cost conscious. Great place, very happy.

I took my 6 year old for the first time yesterday for a dental cleaning. The front desk staff was very kind and accommodating from the moment that I walked in the door. I came early and she was taken back early and was done before I finished filling out paperwork. As we were leaving she said mommy next time I need to have my teeth cleaned I was to come back to this place. You can’t ask for more than that. Great place!!

Both the owners and staff of our restaurant put our trust in Dr. Bert. His facility is very clean and accommodating, and his staff are by far the friendliest of any medical facility I’ve used! A few of our team have had emergency and/or extensive work done, and are completely satisfied! I know you will agree with how friendly they are after your very first phone call...

We scheduled a new patient appointment for today after waiting for over an hour they finally called us when the nurse came out she started talking to us very nice like. Though as soon as I asked if I could go back with my four year old daughter on her first visit her. Demeanor completely changed. She became rude and told me that she could show me the room but then I would have to leave. This made me very uncomfortable. I refused to let her go back alone to meet with a male doctor!! The nurse and front desk became very rude and told me I needed to find another dentist. So I left and I suggest you beware

I came to Dr Bert needing extensive work done and have been impressed every step of the way. The office team has all been kind and helpful, quick service, and very pleased with Dr. Bert's work especially.

Only gave the two stars for the dental assistants because they are extremely kind. Dr.Hughes did my filling incorrectly and charged me $90 dollars for it when I usually pay $45 for a filling. When I asked for my money to be refunded so I could get it fixed by my dentist back home in Miami, he called me abusive. He was very condensing and down right disrespectful during the phone call. Would not recommend him to anyone in Gainesville. ALSO he tried to charged me $80 for scaling for gingivitis that I DID NOT HAVE. The dental hygienist said my gums didn’t bleed at all during my cleaning. He scams people of their money and when they ask for it back, he plays the victim. Horrible dentist.

All the dental hygienists and receptionists are nice. Two days ago when I took my son in, after he came out he said he had something to tell me. I asked and he told me Dr. Hughes was mean to him verbally and a little rough working on his mouth. My son is polite and cooperative to people. The one time I met Dr. Hughes he acted like he wished he were any where but there and I don't he cared one bit about anything. I will sadly be looking for another dentist. I can't have my kids scared to go to the dentist. My kids have been patients here for over two years.

Recently changed insurances and had not found a new dentist yet. However, I was having excruciating tooth pain so I made an appointment with the first dentist that could see me which was Dr. Hughes. I began hearing terrible things that morning from several co-workers but I still kept my appt. I quickly realized that this is the office of a "tooth tapper." Several hygienist on staff turning kids out left and right. He simply goes in after the hygienist cleans, which they sure do seem to do very quickly, and taps the kids teeth, collects his money and on to the next patient. He did not impress me in the least. The icing on the cake was the disgustingly filthy restroom. Looking very forward to finding me a good confident dentist in the area but it is not this office.
