I received a root canal at this office in which the dentist was extremely rude and the treatment lasted FOUR hours. FOUR HOURS!! I was in pain at my check-up visit but was told that this was normal. Because of my terrible experience, I left this office and found a new dentist. I later found out that the root canal had failed and was infected during a routine x-ray at my new dentist. The failed treatment has caused me additional medical issues and pain from the spread of the infection (an incredible amount of pain in my tooth, jaw, and ear). I have called the Exceptional Dentistry office to let them know about my failed root canal and ask for compensation. (My current dentists say it is common and best practice to redo a root canal for free that fails within three years...) The office refused to compensate me and did not offer any further treatment, saying that root canals can fail 5-10 years later. (It was infected two years later, possibly earlier but I had not received x-rays earlier due to the pandemic.) If you want to pay $3500 for a four-hour, failed root canal that later causes an infection to spread, this is your place!

Normally a visit to the dentist is not something that most people look forward to, after researching exceptional dentistry I chose to get a consultation. There care and genuine concern for having the client feel comfortable and informed was outstanding. There willingness to go the extra distance to accommodate with thing's like help on insurance issues was most helpful, I highly recommend giving them a call if dental needs are in your near future.

I have been a patient for over 7 years at Exceptional Dentistry . In my youth I had a few very stressful dental visits that left me a bit traumatized . My anxiety would go through the roof at the thought of going to the dentists even as an adult. My other problem is I have a very small mouth, and that can be challenging. Dr. Kim Mowery and her staff have always treated me me with the utmost professionalism and kindness. They have a way of putting you at ease. There are times that I will require mild sedation for a procedure. Dr. “Kim” is highly knowledgeable in the use of sedation and strives to make you comfortable. The staff is genuinely kind and understanding. They have offered me a neck pillows and wrapped me in a warm blanket along with playing a favorite movie during my procedure. They closely monitor you during your dental procedures and will call and check on you. I sincerely appreciate the attention to detail and making me feel valued as a patient .
