This is my first visit. Pearla (sp) was amazing! I’m very happy that I finally made the switch to this practice. The dentist, Dr. Winterman, was very kind and professional. I appreciated the no nonsense conversations and the relaxed approach to selling you on different extra services - no pressure at all and they just make you aware of the service and it’s cost up front. They definitely do not use any scare tactics to talk you into unnecessary procedures. They also have more cutting edge machinery they use, so you feel confident that they have examined your teeth and gums from all angles. I was terrified of leaving my old office because I was comfortable even though they were not a provider within my insurance list. After talking to a friend, who also uses GFD, I was finally convinced to make the switch and try them out. I’m glad I did.

Too expensive and do they even accept any insurance plans? I just tried calling and the phone doesn't even ring. I'm sure no one is there answering it. Oh that's right, it's Friday. I'm sure they're all just getting ready for the weekend. Dentistry in Gainesville is NON EXISTENT. I've tried everywhere and no one will accept my insurance. I have $3000.00 in dental insurance and no one will take it in Gainesville.

All I can say is this is the best dentist in town!!! I felt respected welcomed and the professionalism exceeded all of my expectations. I recommend this dentist to anyone and everyone. Its affordable, relaxed environment that I shortly will be returning to. They definitely won my trust and won me over.

I had a new patient appointment with Gainesville Family Dentistry this afternoon. The front desk staff is very professional and efficient and the office was clean and comfortable. Monica did an amazing job with my cleaning and Dr. Winterman was kind and very clear about a customized plan going forward to help straighten my teeth. Everyone was gentle. They even fit me in same day for a cavity fill after my cleaning. I can't believe I'm actually excited to go back to the dentist. That's a first for sure! Would highly recommend this practice.

I have the best dental hygienist, Chance! He is very astute with every twitch I make and stop to ask “is everything okay?” The drill bothers my eardrum and makes me shiver. ☺️ He is also very gentle when completing my cleanings. Thank you Chance!! The office is always neat and tidy. The appointment process is very quick and effortless. You also receive text reminders to confirm your appointment or if you need to change your appointment. I am very pleased with Gainesville Family Dentistry and would recommend to others if they are looking for a dentist home.
