My husband and I have been going to Dr. Richard Mullens since early 2002 after retiring to Jacksonville. We have never been disappointed in our care with any member of the staff, the dental hygienists nor Dr. Mullens. The addition of Dr. James Nguyen has proved to be a perfect complement and partner to Dr. Mullens. I have now seen Dr. Nguyen twice, and not only do I have total confidence in his dentistry skills, but I also appreciate in his listening skills, his easy manner, and his sense of humor. The only thing that I can say about Team Mullens and Nguyen, which includes every person there, is that they are outstanding in every respect. There is not a friendlier nor more helpful staff anywhere nor are there any dentists who can top Dr. Mullens and Dr. Nguyen.

Dr. Mullens continues to produce a very good service environment, even with the recent expansion and addition of an associate. It’s a well oiled machine! The staffers and Dr. Mullens are consistently competent, pleasant and helpful. It was good to see Kay again this time for the cleaning.

If you’re like me and have anxiety going to the dentist, this is the dental office for you! The atmosphere of the office is calm and the staff is friendly! I saw Dr. Nguyen and he was fantastic! He is very gentle and checks in with how you are doing frequently during the visit. They do whatever they can to make you feel comfortable! They explain in detail what they are going to do, and what they are doing throughout the entire appointment, which was very reassuring to me. Dr. Nguyen even texted me the evening after my recent procedure to check on me and make sure I was still doing well. I highly recommended this office!

Dr Nguyen is a very good and pleasant dentist. All the staff from front desk, hygienists and billing are wonderful. All visits and interactions have been positive!
