From my experience of dentist from when I was a child in the early 90s to last year 2015, I have nothing but fear, anxiety and getting tortured with going to the dentist. I can now take a deep breath and let readers and viewers aware that this dentist is by far the best I have went too. To walking into the door, being treated like I was going to a spa, to highly educated hygienists and physician. They are very up to speed with equipment and technology so you are getting the best of the best. If you had a past like mine you should definitely consider this option

I brought my son to this practice after not being able to find a dentist in the Jax area who would do sedation for a young man, 20 years old and on the autism spectrum, who has had behaviors in the past including biting. I looked at some reviews and decided to try Mullens & Nguyen. WOW, am I glad I did! They had me bring my son in to let him look around, meet people and get comfortable with the office, dental chair, x-ray machines, etc. The ENTIRE office was fantastic! The hygienist, Lisa, was so nice and friendly and above all, patient with my son and her mad skills enabled her to get a quick look in his mouth and get a few x-rays without sedation, that has never happened! Everyone in the office was friendly and the staff all seem to get along. We met Dr. Mullens but didn't get a chance to have him work on my son yet...baby steps! I am looking forward to bringing him here again and would not hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone!

My wife was introduced to Dr Mullens and Dr Nguyen last year and it has been the best dental experience for our family. After each visit that our children have had Dr Nyugen has personally called the same day to make sure that they were doing well after their visit. High touch and very personal care. We drive a good distance to go here but it is worth it!

I've been going to Dr.Mullens' office for a few years now and have always had great interactions with the Dr. And staff! I went in today very hesitant about getting a filling because I'm 14 weeks pregnant, gag easily, and to top it off allergies struck this morning so I wasn't sure how easily I could breath through my nose. I thought I would just go in, let them know all of this, and we would have to reschedule.
Dr. Mullens heard my concerns and made some adjustments to the regular procedure so that I didn't have to get the local anesthetic. I felt no pain, and was out of there in 30 minutes! I was very anxious going in and left feeling great about the office and myself for getting a (shallow) cavity filled without any numbing!

Dr. Mullens and his staff are amazing! They make you feel so comfortable. I used to hate going to the dentist, but not anymore! The office is state of the art. They have the top of the line equipment and even a tv to watch during your appointment. If you are looking for a new dentist, look no further! Dr. Mullens' office is excellent!
