West Dentistry: West Jacqueline DMD

First off let me state that I hadn't been to a dentist in awhile. I actually chose Dr. West based on the fact she did non-amalgam fillings and had the offering as well to remove/replace existing ones. When I went in I was in a fair bit of pain from an infected molar that needed a root canal. Both Dr. West and her staff were kind and courteous. I found the location easy to navigate to from work and her practice is clearly marked with plenty of easy access parking. Dr. West herself is both kind and empathetic to the needs of her patients. She quickly diagnosed my need for a root canal on the offending tooth and tried to schedule me for it before the weekend, but I ended up needing to wait until Monday.

She referenced me to a Dr. Barry Stevens to do the main root canal since it was on a molar. I've had only one other root canal and had remembered it being a involved process. Dr. Barry handled this one with great skill and care, it was actually over about an hour before I thought it would have been. I experienced no pain and the procedure went by very quickly. I did have jaw discomfort after the root canal from the infection, but he quickly put in a request for a specific set of medications with my walgreens at home over the phone. I simply had to pick them up after work. This did the trick and I was feeling great a few days after.

The following week I returned to Dr. West to get the tooth cleaned up and fitted for a crown. The was my first actual experience with Dr. West doing work in my mouth. The kindness and empathy that I saw in my diagnosis visit remained true when I was there for the crown fitting. It did run a bit long, but she was constantly checking to make sure I was comfortable during my stay. Her office features a massage option on her dental chair and a tv directly overhead to entertain you while she is doing her work. The office is nicely lit, well decorated, and does it's best to feel warm and inviting rather than cold and sterile like many dental offices are. Everything there is well kept and very organized though.

Overall my experience with Dr. West has been excellent and I would highly recommend her to anyone needing dental work. Many people are squeamish about going to the dentist, but I think if you are one of those people between the caring of Dr. West herself and her staff you won't be as concerned and will leave relived every time. I will mention that she was a bit pricier than previous dentists I've been to, but I think overall the little extra you spend is worth-while for the peace of mind.

She's made getting my teeth taken care of a simple thing and so I will be more diligent with it in the future. =)

I was referred to West Dentistry over a year ago by one of my best friends. I am so glad to have found them! Dr. West is great , the staff friendly,and the office is in a building with great character in 5 Points. All of my experiences have been nothing short of excellent. Now my wife and daughter go there too. West Dentistry rocks!

When I had an allergic reaction to a temporary crown, Dr. West and her staff did everything possible to resolve the situation.. including coming into the office during non work hours and making a temporary crown without acrylic that I could tolerate until the permanent crown could replace it. Dr West also asked the lab making the crown for priority because of the moderate allergic reaction I was experiencing. Dr West then called me regularly to check on how I was doing. I am extremely appreciative for everything they did and would recommend them to anyone! Great job!

I've been going to West Dentistry for over 10 years. Dr. West is a great dentist and the staff is amazing. They treat you as a friend. The dental work is exceptional from cleanings to getting a crown. I trust Dr. West and her staff with my dental needs.

Every procedure is always clearly explained. Dr. West and her staff constantly express kindness and caring for us and we consider Dr. West a blessing in our lives.

I was wanting to have some extensive dental work done so I found Dr. West on the internet. I always read reviews and she had some very kind things said about her and her staff. They got me in quickly and there wasn't a long wait in the waiting area. They are prompt, professional and really sweet people. Dr. West did an amazing job on my porcelain caps, they look absolutely beautiful and my Botox and Juvederm injections look amazing also. She is definitely well worth the money. She is the kindest Dr. I have ever met. My dental plan doesn't pay much because she is out of network but I can tell you, I will not go anywhere else.

I cannot be any happier with my recent experiences with this office. Dr. West has got to be the best in town. I recently chose this office because of the great reviews I found online, and now understand why everyone else has given Dr. West and her staff five stars. I’d give this office ten stars if I could. Everyone here is extremely courteous, professional, and personable. In both of my recent visits, I came in early and never had to wait for more than 5 minutes, which was extremely convenient since I was still able to get to work on time. If you’re new to the area, like I am, and looking for a high-quality dentist or just looking to make a change from your current dentist, then you should visit Dr. West and her staff.

I went to Mrs. West based on their Google reviews today. They truely live up to their reviews! Dolly, Lisa, Violet, Brittany, and Jacqueline were all friendly and knowledgeable! I HAVE never had an experience worth writing about at a dentist until now. Thank you guys so much!
