Had my first appointment with Sunset Family & Cosmetic Dentistry today and I am thrilled. I've had to change dentists a few times the last few years due to long wait times, being overcharged, constantly having unnecessary procedures pushed on me but none of that happened here. Very professional, friendly staff, was called in right at 9 AM and they did not try to push anything on me. I'm so happy I found this place. If you're not sure your current dentist has your best interest at heart then come here!
Update: They no longer take my insurance (Aetna) so here we go again.

it is a 5 star all the way. 15 years ago i had some cosmetic work done the dentists were very professional but the technology was not even close to what Ubieta has to offer you, it is a one day 2 hours trip and you come out with a brand new shinning crown of a quality that simply was not there 15 years ago. Besides the quality of the work the people are very friendly and make your time there very pleasant.

Exceptional, Pain free dentistry, I have always been terrified of the dentist because of a previous bad experience i had. I am so grad i made the decision to change dentist and go to Dr Ubieta office. I did a couple of fillings and i cant express how comfortable everyone made me feel. Dr. Ubieta is the first dentist who paused to ask me if anything hurt and it was the first time I had totally pain free dentistry, I am so happy with the results. The assistants, Dental hygienist and front desk staff are considerate, caring and great professionals, everyone makes you feel appreciated. Now i feel comfortable in going to the dentist because i know i'm in great hands. I would definitely recommend this office to everyone.

Unfortunately, I have to say that I had a terrible experience by going to his practice. I went to have a veneer replacement. The veneer came with uneven surface in which there were a couple of tiny holes. I asked Mr. Ubieta to take care of the issue; however, I emphasized on not reducing the width of the veneer since he decided to publish it to smooth its surface . This treatment is purely cosmetic; therefore, the appearance should be the main concern of the procedure. Although, Mr. Ubieta did not think the same way. The veneer that Mr. Ubieta was treating, ended up unaligned in comparison to adjacent veneers. I expressed Mr. Ubieta my discomfort; however, he told me that my problem was psychological and should go to another dentist. At this point, Mr. Ubieta was presenting a temper tantrum evidenced by covering his eyes with his hands, living the office and left me talking alone. He took absolutely no responsibility of his work, invalidated my opinion and abandoned his practice. He presented himself as a very unethical professional. Now, I must see how I will get my money back. Currently, I am under significant distress!
