I want to start by saying I have always been TERRIFIED of going to the dentist because of extremely bad experiences as a child at a dentist. I went in having a panic attack but knew I had to do this as I was having lots of issues with my teeth.
I needed 2 root canals!!
I needed 3 front teeth fixed!
And my appointment was just for X-rays and a cleaning.
They opened special time for me to get all of it done same day even though they were booked.
I have to say I hit the jackpot!!
I felt lucky!!
I felt blessed!
I felt like I was in the room with two best friends Charity and Dr. D made me laugh and they even stayed after hours to finish my dental work.
I was so comfortable that I even fell asleep on them while working on my teeth.
The entire staff was absolutely friendly professional yet very Family feeling for me!!
I still have more work to get done on my teeth and I’m excited and for the first time in my life looking forward to going to get it done!

Good afternoon. Very rare do I write a review on businesses that I visit for any kind of service. As a new patient I have mixed feelings about The Dentist Place. When I walked in the staff was very professional and pleasant. When I was called in, my Dental Hygienist was very nice and professional. Then it happened. Mark Goulding, DMD. It appears he is the only Dentist managing that office. Very late over 30 mins, came in and did not introduce himself, asked what was going on, looked in my mouth, gave me his assessment, gave me my options and there he went. About 5 mins. of his time. Good thing I have medical experience where I did understand what he stated. I do not know how many offices there are in this building, but he seems to be the guy that walks around and monitor patient in-patient out. After all time is money, right? His medical assessment of my condition was spot on, but I felt like I was a number and not a patient. No patient skills, zero empathy, zero patience as far as explaining x-rays to show me where my problem was coming from. I do not tell people what to do. As for me. I will stay with the VA. The Dentist is for my wife. I can get VA care but I really got the insurance for my wife. I am a retired military member and she needs to be covered. My old insurance does not do business with my past Dentist anymore. I think I will drop them and find insurance that does. Dr. David and Associates by far hands down is the place to be... Good luck to all with the Dentist place. I will not be returning. My first day and last day.

I just wanted to leave a positive review for The Dentist Place Orange Park FL. The staff is very friendly and always makes me feel comfortable. I get very nervous about dentist visits, but I have never felt more at ease than at The Dentist Place. DA Ashley is really a strong component in this feeling of comfort. I would recommend this office to anyone in need.

Great atmosphere. I could tell the moment I walked in they truely care about their patients. Dr. Hood is very professional and made sure to answer all my questions. She helped me along the way with all my issues. Had Ashley help me and she was amazing. She has made sure to check on me even when she was not assigned to me. The entire staff is friendly, professional and very much a place I will continue to go to get all my dental work done in the future. Thank you to you and your staff for all the hard work you put in. I know I wasen't the easiest patient to take care of but you made sure to do just that. I Highly recommend the dentist place to anyone looking for a dental provider for a fair, honest and caring location.

They were able to take care of an emergency and my anxieties over how to handle an unexpected medical expense with compassion that is above and beyond what I expect from any healthcare provider these days. You may have started as my emergency dentist but you are now my permanent one.

I had my first visit with The Dentist Place today and was pleasantly surprised. There was some miscommunication in regard to my first appointment. I wasn’t able to complete what I was coming in for, but they were quick to make it right and assure that I was correctly scheduled in a timely fashion. Multiple staff members apologized and offered to coordinate care between both their office and my orthodontist. I look forward to my first visit next week.
