Horrible horrible experience - - never go back…went to Bridges with 2 issues -crown needed on upper & cavity on lower.. Told tech my primary issue was with the lower cavity.. They then got into a sales pitch for me to enroll in their “wellness plan” This is not insurance but an in house scam..Platinum plan is $99.00 to enroll - $29.99 monthly and 40% off on other procedures..I foolishly enrolled to get the 40% off on the crown procedure, which was $1834.00 which is considerably higher then most other dentists - - but then I was informed they would not work on the lower cavity and suggested another dentist -- that would not recognize their “wellness plan“. So they did xrays on the upper crown & did a cast for a new crown..They put a charge of $1011.39 on my credit card…When I got home & discussed this with my wife we learned we were really getting ripped off..
Now here’s the good part - -wife went to bridges office & tried to cancel their “wellness plan” & offered to pay half .. Laura’s husband refused to refund anything - - then got into a shouting match with my wife - -bad move - - questioning whether she had the authority to make decisions for her husband - he was very insulting - - it got so loud that laura - -the dentist - -his wife - - had to calm him down as the noise was carrying into the lobby…
They finally issued a credit for $505.70...This would cover the preparation for the crown…When its all over & done this was a most terrible way to treat a customer - - this was not my first visit & all other procedures were done well..Needless to say I now have a dentist with more reasonable rates that offers a “real”insurance plan that is accepted nationwide..
Bridges dental plan looks good on paper ,but when you really look into it it not worth the paper its printed on - - it’s a scam - - its just another way of charging more on already inflated charges.. its all about the money - - -nothing else - - -
