I scheduled my first appointment 2 months ago with the Dr Matar. A friend told me about his excellent work and I don't regret it at all. First of all, as a self-employed with no dental coverage he was very helpful and financially flexible. Most important he did a wonderful job with the help of the root canal specialist he works with. No pain at all and high quality results, that's what I was looking for. On top of that they always had been on time, that's rare on the medical field. I highly recommend Dr Matar and his staff.

Excellent staff and doctor. Sadly, I have had bad experiences with dentists being too pushy. The staff here is very gentle and not pushy or salesy at all. I have referred my friends and family here and will continue to do so!

Dr. Mattar is the best in O-town. Been his patient for about 10 years after few bad experiences with other dentists. I visit him every 6 months for dental cleaning and also had my cavity filled by him.

Dr. Matar is the best dentist my family has had! He has an amazing staff too, from the dental assistants to the hygienists, they all make us feel very comfortable.
Nobody really enjoys going to see a dentist and that's why I like Dr. Matar, because he takes the time to explain all the procedures, the x-rays, the options. Our previous dentist would rush thru, which I didn't like. We also like that he has a very honest approach, which means he would never recommend something that you don't need.
Like other reviews here, Dr. Matar has an unbelievable "hand" for getting you numb. I wasn't able to feel the shot :)

I highly recommend Winter Park Family Dentistry and Prosthodontics. The office is beautiful, open and airy, not your typical "clinical" dentist office atmosphere. Dr. Matar has a warm chairside manner.....he is personable, takes great care to make sure you are comfortable, thoroughly explains any procedure he will be performing so that you know what to expect, and has an easy touch. If you are looking for a dentist, or have anxiety about seeing one, do yourself a favor, call and make an appointment.

Dr Matar and his staff are amazing. From moment I entered the door I was greeted. The front desk checked me in and after waiting only a short period of time I met Dr Matar. I had alot of work I was told I needed done by previous dentist. Dr. Matar took the time to tell me what I actually needed done and why. Everything ran smoothly between him and his assistant Brittany. They had me in and out in no time. I'm really glad I came here! This has branded such a remarkable impression and experience with me. Had a toothache on last Saturday night so fixed an appointment immediately on te website, and to my surprise Sunday early morning Dr. Matar text me and then i met him on Sunday morning at 10:00 am, and had my tooth extracted on Monday 7:00 am. He is an awesome guy and i felt i know him for a long time the way he comforted me and took care of me. Also after the extraction i had pain and i text him and he immediately attended and asked me to come down to his Maitland center. I am still recovering but i had a very good experience and will always see him in future for all my dental needs. GOD bless Dr. Matar

First time patient from Dr Hawley's old practice. I could not have been happier with my experience with this group. Friendly staff, easy and efficient checkin and check out with no wait. Fiorella cleaned my teeth and examined me better than any hygienist I've ever seen. Dr Matar was friendly and thorough Nd even took the time afterward to show me google voice to text patients for my practice. Will highly recommend this practice to friends and coworkers.
