I can appreciate why Dr. Matar is popular with his patients. Though he can be intimidating intensely looking into your month with his drills and needles, he is very kind and attentive.
Dr. Matar is like, a gentle giant who is very detail oriented and courteous. He has your best interest at heart and concerns himself with your wellbeing; you will agree when you visit.
His jokes, not always funny; but they are quirky, and though it may not make you laugh it will make you smile and relax you.
His staff sincerely wonderful people. The members of this practice are efficient and experienced. I am especially a fan of Blanche, Dr. Matar’s office manager and Liz, one of his assistants.
The people at this office are true professionals and quite wonderful. In my opinion, Winter park Family Dentistry is an honest-to-goodness dental practice I can trust.
Drills and needles always make me squeal, but Dr. Matar does make it a healing experience.

I was taken in on the spur of the minute as a new client with an abscessed tooth. The tooth was extracted that afternoon. My dentist of 20 years was on vacation, her staff suggested i make an appointment for the following week. Really? I now have a new dentist, Dr. Matar. The experience, the staff, the facility all first class. I'm highly appreciative of the way I was treated.

Was in complete shock when I arrived at Dental office,the place was not only really nice ,so were the dentists and staff.let me explain,the Dept of Veterans Affairs outsourced me to Dr Resnick Winter Park Family Dentistry,not what I was expecting at all.I was expecting the worse case scenario.Well,I arrived at the office in Winter Park ,walked in was real nice inside Dr sat down my wife and I and explained what was going to happen, Then got in dental chair with view of outside and nice tunes playing.then dental assistant Chelsea was super nice as was the Dr and rest of staff.if you are looking for a Dentist in this area I highly recommend this place.couldnt have been much better than this.well maybe if they had a breakfast buffet when you are all done with your appt. LOL!

Dr. Matar is the best dentist I have ever had, he clearly knows what hes doing and treats the patients with respect, not like your a burden. His staff is very nice and I had a painless cleaning done in his office. ( which was a first for me). Dr Matar explained exactly what I needed and when I needed to do it. He answered all my questions right away and made sure I understood before I left. I have already recommended him to everyone I know.

I had a tooth pulled a week and a half ago and I was super nervous, last time I had a tooth pulled was for my wisdom teeth and I was knocked out for that. Dr. Matar numbs the spot with a numbing paste before giving the shot and I only felt a little pinch. Before he does anything he makes sure you are numb, I think I had 6 shots total.
Dr. Matar tells you what to expect during the procedure and asks if you're doing ok throughout and you give a tumbs up or down cause he pays attention! Dr. Matar also does not pressure you or rush!

Dr. Matar and Maryann and all the team are always excellent! Kind, caring people who don’t rush just to get you out or try to find things to charge you for. They are a gem of a place. You just don’t find dentists offices like this anymore. And I have never been to an appt where they were running behind. Always in and out quickly. Even got to see Dr. Matar make a ballon animal my last visit. He is very multi-talented.
