Heart of Vinings Dentistry

This place is the Rolls-Royce of dentistry. It’s huge, well staffed, and has state of the art equipment. The dentists I met were kind, warm and full of knowledge. I didn’t feel rushed when asking questions, and Dr. Jaffari spent time discussing oral development with me until I was satisfied. Amazing wealth of knowledge.
My hygienist was so incredibly gentle and graceful with her hands- I felt little discomfort and she did a thorough job. I would definitely recommend this practice to others!

At first, I had a very good feeling about the Heart of Vinings Dentistry. The people I interacted with over the phone were all very helpful and nice. The dental assistant was also great, and I thought the Dentist was very nice and pleasant as well. They were actually filming me throughout the process for some form of quality assurance, I believe.

After doing an X-ray, the Dentist informed me I had to get 5 fillings. He said that it was a little early in the process, but that I needed to get the fillings done or it could get a lot worse soon. Granted, it had been a year and a half since I had been to a Dentist, so I thought this could be the truth.

To be sure, I visited a long-time friend who is a Dentist and recently moved back to Atlanta. Heart of Vinings sent me the X-rays, to their credit, which I then sent to my friend for a second opinion. He reviewed them and checked my mouth, and told me that in fact no fillings were necessary. Some of the so called ‘cavities’, my friend told me, did not even appear to be cavities at all to him but irregularities in the X-ray. He said he is also usually pro-active in doing fillings, but that I did not need anything done.

It seems to me that Heart of Vinings may be another one of those dental practices who direct you to get procedures that are unnecessary or prematurely for their own profit. Unfortunately there are many dental practices like this out there that don’t care about doing the right thing and giving you good information. Instead they hurry you along to do procedures for their own financial gain.

Dr Kansal and his team are great. I change my dentist at one time because his office moved. and I thought it was too far a ride for me.But I will say it was the greatest mistake about my dental care. I only visit my new dentist once to realize my mistake. I’ve been back with doctor Kansal ever since, He is my family dentist. I will drive many miles not minding his location to have him as my continued dental doctor The dental hygienist was awesome it is always a pleasant visit. I will recommend his practice to my friends, any any one that might need his services. Thank you guys you’re a great team.

I arrived late but I was still in and out within the hour. The patient information update, new x-ray, pre-cleaning check up, and actual cleaning were done seamlessly and efficiently. Melissa my hygienist was very pleasant to talk to. HoVD does its best to keep the office clean and pleasing to be in. Keep up the great work!

Dr. Patel and his staff made my dental visit unforgettable! It had been almost 3 years since I had visited the dentist because my previous dentist traumatized me. I had to get gum therapy and it was the most comfortable experience I've ever had!

The office is very clean and modern. The amount of technology made it very comforting that I was getting the best care possible.

the front office staff had my insurance verified and estimates ready before we began. Everything was explained to me before starting any treatment.

Heart of Vinings Dentistry has a well trained and professional staff. All of the doctors are personable and they put their patient’s best interest first. This is the best dentistry practice I have been to in GA hands down.

As a child I've never been a big fan of the dentist at all, one of the dentist assistances noticed that I was very uncomfortable and did everything possible to make sure that I was comfortable and relaxed. The atmosphere of this place was incredible everyone was polite and also professional. Heart of Vinings Dentistry is absolutely the best dentist I've been too. I would be honored to refer others to go here.

The staff here did a great job when I came into to get a broken filling fixed. Everyone was very friendly, professional, and knowlegable. I called them at 7:30am and they were able to get me at 8:20 which was amazing. They also managed to squeeze in my routine cleaning that had originally been scheduled for next week. Krista, the dental hygienist was very knowledgeable and explained everything that was going on in my mouth clearly and thoroughly as well as answer all my questions. They were even able to split the payment for my fillings up so that I could pay for everything without anxiety about my bank account. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone in the market for a new dentist.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I see Dr. Mark Persaud and he is always kind and friendly. I recently had to get some cavities filled and was pretty anxious about the appointment. He and Sabra calmed me down and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The front office staff is wonderful as well.
My boyfriend also sees Dr. Patel and loves him. We have a great experience at HOV every time either one of us goes because of the all around awesome staff!
