Sweetgums is awesome! I love each and every one of the staff from the front of office to the back. Very gentle. Explains procedures well. Very understanding. I have extreme anxiety and zero pain tolerance and they put me at ease. I will definitely be back and also recommend them to anyone who has second and even third thoughts about going to the dentist. My appointment was canceled the evening before my appointment because of my insurance. Yet, they accept children with the same insurance I have which is Medicaid. They had three separate opportunities to cancel my appointment. The first being when I initially made it. The second was when my medical information was requested. The third was when I called two days prior to confirm my appointment. Their excuse was that they were training new personnel and don't verify the insurance until the day before. This is unacceptable!

I went for a 1st visit the hygienist was very rough with cleaning my teeth. It's 3 days later and my teeth still hurt. It's like a can feel my pulse in my teeth and they are super sensitive. I had no pain before going

I haven’t been to the dentist in years. Upon entering the establishment, the receptionists ladies was very welcoming and courteous. My X-ray tech made me feel very calm, felt like family. Dr. Lockhart was very prompt and explained the process and procedures that needed to be done. I’m glad I found a good dental practice that put the care of the patients on the frontline. Would definitely recommend them for future visits.
