I was a patient of the previous owner, Dr. Wayne Trowell, for 21 years and in full transparency that’s the only reason I’ve been to this practice since Dr. Desi and Dr. Goaling have taken over.
The technology is state of the art and the office is clean. After my past 2 exams, now having seen both Dr. Desi and Dr. Goaling, I will be looking for another dentist. Both dentists lack considerably in bedside manner, focusing more on examining you and moving on. I’m not looking for a lunch date but I would like to spend a bit more time with my healthcare provider, especially given it’s someone that is new to me.
Six months ago Dr. Desi filled a cavity for me. A few days later I was experiencing pain and trouble chewing on that side of my mouth. My mouth felt uneven and I was sure something was wrong. When I called to schedule a follow up, I was told that this is a common problem post filling and that Dr. Desi could quickly fix it. I refused to see her, insisting instead that I see Dr. Trowell at a later date. I’ve had my fair share of fillings and have never had that problem before. I fully believe that had Dr. Desi been focused more on me as her patient rather than getting me in and out, the issue could have been avoided.
Bottom line: I know many have had worse experiences with dentists. This practice has top notch technology. But if you’re looking for a dentist who cares, keep on searching.

Best Dentist I have ever had! My entire family have been patients of Dr. Trowell for over 16 years! He was the first dentist my children saw when we moved down here and they still visit him twice a year 16 years later. Dr. Trowell is knowledgable, patient and very interested in not only our teeth but our over all health and well being. I am thrilled I found a dentist like him and even more happy that he is now in the Johns Creek area. We all recommend him highly.
