The staff from the front to the back are so fun, sweet & very informative, best team work I've ever seen also made me feel very comfortable. They gave me a treatment plan with all the treatment I needed & prices, also offered a discount plan. They've helped me get my smile back & I couldn't be happier. Thank you Hawaii Family Dental! Dr. Edgar was awesome!!! He was very very funny! And that helped calm my nerves and made the process go by much quicker than anticipated. Didn’t feel a thing and was surprised when he said “were done” great staff and great people at their practice. Mahalo! Now on the road to recovery.

They are not lying when they say gentle. I had 2 teeth pulled 24 hours ago and I feel no pain , its almost completely healed. Feels like a miracle because ive had teeth pulled before and it hurts for days, in bed , unable to function. This time I had about a 2 hour nap and then i was back on my feet like nothing happened. Dr. Mau is so gentle, best dentist for pulling teeth.

It took a huge leap of faith for me to return to a dentist again after 10 years - I'd previously had very negative (and sometimes very painful) experiences with dentists on the mainland, and now after a long delay I knew I needed extensive dental work because my procrastination was starting to affect my health.
Dr. Mangasi and her assistant Arlene were very friendly and professional, making me feel at ease with my decision to have the work done and create a plan to systematically repair the many years of neglect.
My dental work is now almost completed after nearly 10 months. I feel very fortunate to have found a dentist with great skills and professionalism and a hygienist with careful attention to detail and concern for my comfort and the results of the work.
Now I not only enjoy better health and a brighter smile, I also believe I have gained two good friends... quite a reversal for a guy who used to break into a cold sweat at the sight of a dentist chair.Mahalo, ladies. See you in 6 months for the next checkup!

When I originally called to book in November of 2018 they didn’t have any openings until April 2019. I went ahead and booked it just for the routine cleaning/xray yearly visit. When I got there I had to wait an hour to even be seen and then once my exrays were done it was another 25 min at least before anyone else came in the room to look at my teeth. Once the doctor was back there she looked at my teeth for maybe 5 min and said everything was good to follow her up front and they would schedule my cleaning.. ??? I asked why we weren’t doing that today and was told the first visit is just to check gums and then they do the cleaning. But the next available time wasn’t until July - and I will be off island. So I had to wait 5 months just to get in only to not have everything I was expecting done and then have to wait 4+ months to just get a cleaning. The staff was nice but the way they work and do scheduling makes no sense at all.
