I’ve been seeing Dr Matto for over 2 years now and my review is long past due! The front desk (Hi Jose), and technicians are amazing and my husband and I adore Dr Matto. We get our cleanings here and I also got my invisilign. They send reminder texts/emails for appointments which is always a plus for us 😂🙌🏽

I very much appreciated the service provided by Diamond Head Dental Care when I was on vacation, visiting family on Oahu, and experienced a dental issue that needed prompt attention. I called them on a Saturday afternoon and they were able to see me shortly after they opened the next morning. Their service was unfailingly friendly, efficient, and courteous, and they took extra steps to make me feel welcome as an emergency / first-time patient.

I am so grateful to have found Diamond Head Dental! I was suffering from an excruciating toothache during vacation, and was able to get an appointment immediately. Because I have a huge dental phobia, going into a new practice is scary, but my fears were quickly assuaged. From the moment I entered the office I felt calm and secure. The ambiance everywhere was friendly and warm. Every person of the staff I interacted with was positive, kind, and understanding. Best of all, I felt both SEEN and HEARD, which put me at ease. It gave me the courage to explain my needs, all of which were addressed, including a cozy blanket over my legs. My experience was excellent and I give this practice my highest recommendation!

They’ve been fantastic for my daughter and I both over the last year. I used to be afraid of dental work but the dental staff and dentists are amazing. They are gentle, friendly, caring and thorough. They welcome questions and explain everything very clearly. Jessica and Ashley cared for my daughter and I today and were wonderful!

Great experience as usual with kind, courteous, and skilled staff. Cleaning was efficient and quick. panoramic and old school x-rays were smooth. I highly recommend this location. My insurance took care of the entire visit.

Average care at best, better options are out there. Our Family went to Diamond Head Dental for a while. Until Dr. Matto performed an unnecessary filling replacement $$$ on my wife leaving her with a cracked tooth that he took ZERO responsibility for it. He was quick to recommend an extremely expensive associate we could contact at our expense to fix his mistake. Not the level of service we anticipated. We Changed to Hawaii Family Dental and have been happy with the level of care provided.

Diamond Head Dental is amazing! I used to go to another dentist on Waialae but always felt pressured with their sales tactics and lack of payment options. The dental hygienists are wonderful and make you feel valued as a patient. The Dentist, Dr. Matto, has the lightest hands and is thorough. They have two offices, one in Honolulu and one in Pearl City. Honestly, Diamond Head Dental Care is one of the best in the business.

I used to go to a different dentist where Dr Matto was practicing but when he opened his own practice, I followed him because he makes me feel at ease and comfortable. All of the staff at Diamond Head are warm and friendly and always try to accommodate me for my appointments since my work schedule takes me all over the world and I cannot know where I will be anymore than 30 days in advance. I would also highly recommend Janelle, the hygienist, who is very gentle, yet very thorough.

I got an appointment right away with Yulisa who was very nice as well as the Doctor. Jenna did a good job on the cleaning and recommended a deep cleaning since I hadn't had my teeth cleaned in a couple of years and had no issues. I was disappointed that a Deep Clean would cost nearly 1300 before tax!!
