Worst experience I have ever had at a dentist doctors office ever. They welcomed me in for an apt to fix my filling that they initially messed up (there was a black thing that got in it when they initially did my first filling, on my front visible tooth). I come in they sit me down, give me xrays, then the dentist comes in. I tell him the problem and he says oh yes sorry about that we can fix that today. So I am sitting there waiting, and they come in and hand me a paper with a large amount on it. I say “oh my insurance should cover this” and they say “yes! They probably will, we just can’t get a hold of them because there closed, but they will probably pay for most of that.”
They then proceeded to tell me I needed to pay immediately or could not get help. Confused, I pleaded with having driven across the entire island and asking if they could at least fix the tooth that they initially messed up. The Answer was NO. They said once we “call your insurance and they pay for it we can talk about giving you a refund” seemed very SKETCHY and UNTRUTHFUL. They denied fixing there mistake and didn’t inform me in the first place that I had to “pay up front” and then my insurance would be called. Very very bummed and hope the owner sees this because it is NOT a very good way to do business.

Dr. Matto and his team always make me feel comfortable and at ease while at the office. I really like the care provided and prefer him over any dentist I have ever had. I feel lucky to have found such a caring office right near home. Also, he is a really honest doctor and has always looked out for my best interest instead of his own. Mahalo for making me feel happy to visit you guys !!

I saw Dr. Matto at his previous location. He bungled my crown. Twice. People make mistakes. But he lied about it. 18 months of Dr. Matto saying it’ will be good, just wait. My dental hygienist finally said, it’s been 18 months, it’s not going to get better. The senior Dentist redid the crown, and tried to save the tooth. But the damage was done. I lost the tooth.
I can only chew on one side, stressing my jaw. I wanted an implant to resolve it. But thanks to Dr. Matto lying about my condition for so long, and the resulting damage, an implant is not possible. And I will have to live with the pain. I can forgive mistakes, but not lying to cover them. Think twice before trusting Dr. Matto with your dental care.

Awesome experience. The staff is very detail and friendly. "Everything is explained including recommendations. Text reminders are great I was even able to wear my Bose headphones and listen to Michael Buble" Too cool! So relaxing during 6 month cleaning ! Only difficult part was lip syncing.:)

Visited today First time this nice Clinic and liked very Much Doctor Cecil Riter - Very Scrupulous and Professional... And his nurse Sherry and Register team was very good... Prices are good too plus Free Consultation ( much better everything then other clinics around) Thank you So much and Mahalo🕊

I'm posting on behalf of my mother as her English is not good. She mentioned how lovely the front desk and all the staff are. Having water available is a plus. Also, she appreciated the staff who can speak Mandarin to explain to her what's suggested to be done. She likes that she gets all the details of what should be done for her teeth and the estimation cost of it. She likes that they can work with her on payment options since we don't all have upfront money to pay.

As a visitor in Honululu , I was apprehensive visiting a dentist here.
Dr Matto and his team came highly recommended by a dear friend who lives here.
I felt extremely comfortable.
The place was super clean and organised.
The team were warm and welcoming and on the ball.
Dr Matto himself was thorough and understanding and highly competent.
I'm going back.....soon !
