Diamond Head Dental Care

My daughter needed an emergency tooth extraction and they accommodated us for a walk in on Sunday. They were able to put me in for a cleaning at the same time. They also take insurance. Professional, kind, and speedy work! Thank you so much!

Got an after work appt 2-days prior.
Staff are very polite, professional and accommodating. Dr. was busy yet he took the time to explain what he could see in the X-rays and the options for my dental situation.

The only thing this place has going for it is the hospitality of its employees. Other than that this place is a straight up mess. I had been quoted 6k (this is with insurance covering 2k per year) to take care of my dental issues, i had a list of at least 6 things majorly wrong and i had only 2 things done. A cavity which was fixed with ease and a root canal with crown. Both of these things have now totaled me over 2.6k thats with them having used my 2k of coverage for the full year. The root canal took over 4 hours and i had to go back because i could still feel pain in the root. They than had me come back for another 3 hour long procedure to remove the remaining root. Fine not a big deal roots are complicated. I then was told to wait 3 weeks for a crown as they had to request it from some place in the US and not locally. On my way to get the crown installed they contacted me 15mins before my appointment to tell me there was no crown and that i had to wait another week for it to arrive. I finally go in to get my crown and was told it was a 30min procedure, it took 2 hours and the crown didn't fit. They then told me I was to wait another 2 weeks as they sourced another crown from a local specialist. I finally get my crown and think thats the end of it. Only to receive an invoice from them telling me I owed them money. Of course they send that email after hours so you have to contact them the next day. I contact the number provided and they tell me that they're not the ones that can assist with billing inquires, but theyll pass along a message to have someone reach out to me. Half the day goes by and no answer, I give up and call them hoping to straighten everything out and am told that the people work from home and that they'll leave another inquiry for my billing. At this point I'm just upset as I was informed that my copay was gonna be 2k for the procedure, only for them to say that my insurance won't cover $258.88, this sounds like some shady practices. I will never come back here.

I recently stumbled upon the hidden gem of Diamond Head Dental in Pearl City. From the front desk staff to Dr. Johnson - I was always checked on and made sure I was comfortable. Kudos to the Diamond Head Dental team and the amazing service they provide.

Today I had a great experience. The dentist was very knowledgable and friendly just like the staffs. They are going out of their way helping. The location and parking is great, super easy to access. The prices are very reasonable. They offered me same day appointment. I highly recomend this place.

The brunette girl up front was awesome! Patricia and Dr. Jackson were amazing and I definitely felt like I was in good hands the whole time.

This place is great! The were able to get me on the same day. The staff was very friendly from the second. I’m very happy I found this place. Would highly recommend!

Dr.Jackson did an outstanding job on my filling today I did not feel anything at all with the numbing definitely eased my anxiety, thank you also to Amber the DA as well for making me feel so welcomed and safe in the office you guys are the best !!!!!

Friendly staff and clean atmosphere. Office hours are flexible. Dr Johnson is very polite and knowledgeable.

I was on vacation in Hawaii and needed to see a dentist. Got a last minute appointment online. Dr Matto and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. They were able to tell me exactly what was wrong and what I needed to do next. Would recommend!
