Diamond Head Dental Care

I made an appointment for the same day to get my tooth extracted as it was bothering me so much so, that I couldn't wait for my original scheduled date, and DHD was nice and accommodating about it when I called. I've always been so nervous about visiting Dentists after a very bad experience elsewhere, but Dr Johnson made me feel confident and comfortable that it will be done right and with utmost care. He actively listened and addressed all of my questions. For the first time, I've never felt so comfortable and relaxed in a Dentist chair as I did today!! Amber, the Dental Hygienist was comforting as well, and attentive to me and directives from Dr. Johnson. Thank you to the amazing Diamond Head Dental team!

Aloha, this is my first time ever writing a review online.
I’ve been wanting to thank Dr. Matto since last year for his kindness and excellent service.
And today is for Ally’s!
I asked her a question after much hesitation: I knew it could have been so much easier for her to just say ‘no, we don’t have that kind of service,’ and turn around because her job is to follow the rules and policies of the office as a staff.
But she didn’t ignore my question nor looked me down for asking such question. She took her time to go asking the management team and gave me the answer I wished to hear!
I think listening to customer’s concern and being flexible are very important qualities to win the hearts of customers! Thank you so much again, Dr. Matto, and Ms. Ally, for being so thoughtful!

Best dentist I’ve met since my childhood dentist. He’s thorough, professional, has great bedside manner, logical, etc. I felt respected, validated, safe and well taken care of. Dr Rider earned my trust and respect almost instantly. These types of doctors are hard to find these days. The staff was amazing as well which is can also be missing in some places. :) I went in for an emergency and left a loyal customer/client. I will be switching dentists and driving further to be taken care of at their clinic. The clinic and staff are worth it. Thank you Diamond Head Dental Care! 🙌

My favorite dental office ever! There is a good reason why I make the trip from Kaaawa to Diamond Head to see the dentist. I know that I'll be taken care of comfortably.

I've been a patient since 2018. Ive seen many different technicians and doctors at the Diamond Head location over the years; I even had all four wisdom teeth removed here. Each an every employee has done a great job making me feel comfortable! I don't like people working in my mouth and I get anxious even during a quick cleaning. But the care I receive here is great. Everyone is always so friendly, gentle and attentive. I really appreciate Diamond Head Dental Care for always taking care of me. I no longer dread my bi-annual dental cleanings.

Ps. My last visit was at the Pearl City location and I received the same excellent care at this new office.

Both my wife and I are so happy with our first cleaning service at the offices. It’s easy to make an appointment, office is very clean and in very convenient location. The hygienist Shantel is the best! We like our doctor and all nice lady staff in the front office.

I was so glad to know that their clinic was open on weekends especially on sundays. It saves me to file a day off during weekdays. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Thank you for that nice experience.

Dr. Matto and his team are exceptional in their service and care that they provide. When I transferred to Dr. Matto to figure out my dental issues, he offered me various solutions and explained everything clearly. He was very persistent in getting the right angle for my cap that he sent it back to the lab until they did it right. That made me feel like he cared enough about the quality of his work and that he was willing to do what was right for his patients. He has taken excellent care of my dental needs and truly believe that he is one of the best! It’s even easier and more convenient that he’s in Pearl City! Don’t look any further just call his office and you’ll immediately notice the difference.
