Top notch team! My care started with Dr. Adachi and his team last year when I had an emergency during covid of all times. It had been a long time since I had been to the dentist and am still nervous to be honest. On top of that I felt very embarrassed.

Everyone from the start was amazing. From my consultation, and my initial conversation with Lea made me feel comfortable. Even the dental hygienists make you feel comfortable! Everything was explained to me thoughtfully, and the calm presence of both Dr. Adachi's ( Gerald and Dana ) make me feel as calm as I can be. Honestly, every time I walk out I ask myself why I did not do this sooner. Im nowhere near perfect or done but its so nice to be able to eat comfortably and have the confidence I've been catching up with my dental needs. Slowly but surely!.

Lately, Dr. Dana and her team have been amazing checking on my well being and being available when I have questions or concerns. Amazing! And truly everything has not been as bad as I thought ;).

Dr. Adachi and his team are incredible and so easy to work with ! They took such good care of me, helped me get the smile of my dreams with 6 porcelain veneers. Dr. Adachi is kind, gentle, and patient- I feel so blessed to have worked with him! The hygienists (I worked with several!) were knowledgable, competent, helpful, and so kind. Appointments are easy to schedule, the view from the office is nice (!) and parking is on site. Overall, an incredible experience and I will continue to work with him if we move back to the island.

A few years back, I used to go to another dental clinic in Hawaii. After a terrible experience at that clinic, I searched for a new dental clinic and found Kaka'ako Smiles, which was Kaka'ako Dental back then. When I first got to the clinic, everyone was so warm and welcoming. All the staff at Kaka'ako Smiles treated me like I'm part of their Ohana and they have taken good care of all my dental needs from cleaning to improving my smile. And when I had a procedure done, they made sure that I was comfortable and they catered to my needs. This dental clinic is truly the best and I have been a satisfied customer ever since.

I’ve had everything from teeth whitening to general cleaning to fillings and a bite guard done with Dr. Adachi. The staff is so friendly and very knowledgeable. They take the time to answer any questions I have and ask if I have any concerns. I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment and were even nice enough to see me when I was having a new problem. The office is convenient, clean, and they validate parking. I completely trust both Dr. Adachis with my dental care. They are meticulous with their work and well-trained.

Kakaako Smiles puts a smile on your face after the office visit. Excellent service.

Dr. Adachi and his staff are absolutely amazing! I have searched long and hard for a dentist that I could feel comfortable going to, and am so glad that I have finally found one. Everyone there is incredibly friendly, supportive and they make you feel comfortable. And the work they do is fantastic as well! All around great place.

Friendly staff and dentist, exceptional service! This dentist's office is a great place to get your teeth looked at. Just about every dentist's office that I have been to has been rough on my teeth and impolite when it came to doing a procedure on my fillings. Dr Adachi and his staff set the standard to how a procedure like filling replacements are done. This office is nothing short of exceptional and I will absolutely recommend them to friends and family.

I've been coming to this office for over 10 years now and Dr.Adachi has helped me stay on top of my oral health. The entire office is caring and provides an ohana/family like atmosphere for me. They have worked with me as my dental insurance coverage changed over time, showing me and my partner different financing options. I look forward to continuing with them for the next 10 years.

Great experience because everybody in the Kaka'ako Dentistry office, from front desk to dental assistant to Dentist (Dr. Adachi) genuinely cares and are all down to earth. Everybody in this office are absolutely wonderful and very special caring people!!! Dr. Adachi is wonderful, very caring, and genuine!

Just a few months back, I had an unexpected emergency where a tooth broke while eating on a Sunday evening, and I was able to Dr. Adachi that night and he made it possible for me to come in and he took great care of me. This truly is the best Dentist and best Dental office here on O'ahu!

I'd like to note that in 2005, when I moved to Honolulu from Maui, I was extremely worried about finding the right Dentist and dental office. On Maui, I had a great husband and wife dental team who were gentle, caring, and genuine. I am SO HAPPY to note that I found Dr. Adachi and his team at Kaka'ako Cosmetic Dentistry because Dr. Adachi and all of the staff are all wonderful and extremely caring, gentle, supportive, and genuine.
