Hi. I'm a sailboater, 10 years on the Pacific. I lost a crown on one tooth. A Google map search found a dentist I could walk to with great reviews. Dr Stephen Ho. The reviews don't lie. Char on the phone, scheduled in only two days, absolutely happy and welcoming, Cathy assisted and Dr Stephen Ho were altogether an office I'd go to anytime for just good company. Dr Ho took time to advise me on choices, we decided together and with him showing me pictures of the problem tooth I learned more about my crown than I ever knew even on day one. Great doctor. Very friendly staff. I recently got signed up for here and had my first cleaning. The cleaning was good and the staff that did it was super gentle and nice. Would recommend. Mahalo.

Before retiring, my dentist for about three decades referred others and me to Dr. E. Azuma. During my first visit with Dr. Azuma, he told me that I needed extensive dental work. He started working on several teeth on my second visit. During that visit, I realized that he and I was not a good fit: 1) Dr. Azuma enjoyed bragging about himself and in fact would try to bait me in asking questions that would allow him to continue talking about himself. I quickly realized his M.O., but not taking the bait did not stop him from talking about himself. 2) Dr. Azuma discussed a problem employee with another subordinate…while working on my teeth! I never experienced such behavior by a doctor. There are more examples, but this is about my current dentist, DR. STEPHEN HO…so I shall move on…

I should have took the advice from a friend who recommended DR. STEPHEN HO when I told her that my dentist was about to retire. My friend said that Dr. Ho is not only a good dentist, but also a GOOD person. I should have listened to her…but, better late than never. Since I needed to continue with repairing my teeth, I decided that I did not want to pay someone thousands of dollars who I felt was not a good human being - so I took my friend’s advice.

Of course, my friend was more than 100% right. Dr. Ho is the complete opposite from Dr. Azuma: humble, secure, and not arrogant. Dr. Ho and his staff are pleasant, thoughtful, considerate, sympathetic…I could go on-and-on with more adjectives… Dr. Ho treats his staff (and me) with RESPECT. I have no regrets. I hope he does not retire, as I would hate to lose him as my dentist.

The aforementioned describes Dr. Ho’s (and his staff’s) demeanor…so, what about my dental work (e.g., replace fillings, repair cracks, install a crown, etc.) you ask. I wish I had the “before and after” pictures so you could see for yourself. My teeth look AWESOME! He explains each procedure and shows you the before and after pictures after each session; (shamefully) I have had three (sessions).

(Oh, the reason I failed to take my friend’s advice when given: Laziness. Dr. Azuma’s office is down the hall from my dentist who was about to retire. Little did I know that Dr. Ho’s office is closer to my residence.)

I’ve been with Dr. Ho since he located his practice to his current location. I believe that’s been for close to 25 years or more. He’s provided me cleaning services, cavity repair, root canals, caps, a bridge, gum treatment and dental implant services. The services he and his staff have provided me have been exemplary and remarkably affordable. For these reasons, he’s stuck with me for life. He’s an excellent dental service provider.

Always very professional and pain free dental work at Dr Ho’s Office. A friendly and helpful staff as well. Great environment!

This was my 2nd visit I Love coming here to Doctor Stephen Ho. Hes always smiling and Professional. I had deep cleaning and fillings on 1 of my tooth yesterday Mar30 2016. He used ORAL Sedation on me that made me relax cause I'm one to Gag alot this made my procedure easier for Doctor Stephen Ho and myself. I was always scared of the dentist who isn't. But since I found Doctor Ho I know I have a place to go to get the Best Care for my teeth. Safe Clean Happy Smiling environment. From someone who had a Fear of Dentist now have my very own Primary Dentist in Doctor Stephen Ho;)

The staff at DR Ho is always friendly and helpful. They are always accommodating to changes that i need to make. DR Ho is great at helping me understand what he needs to do and how to improve my personal hygiene.

I've been going to Dr. Stephen Ho for 33 years (from my teenage years thru my now adult life.....) He is very honest, knowledgeable, and professional. He is very patient in answering all of my questions. The work he does is excellent quality, and lasts long. I travel from 96792 to my appointments, and it is worth it. His entire staff is very welcoming and friendly.

Dr. Ho is very kind and makes you feel comfortable. I came in with a painful tooth. The procedure was done with no problems. I’m thankful to Dr. Ho and his fabulous staff.
