Stephen R Ho DDS

Been seeing Dr. Stephen Ho for over 8 years now. Never have I left his office with bad experience, hence me continuing to stay onboard for all these years. Him as well as his staff are all warm and friendly. Dr. Ho is thorough and honest, he genuinely takes time to listen and respond diligently to any questions or concerns you may have, which is really nice and hey what can I say, him and his team takes really good care of me and my teeth every time it’s my turn to go in and visit again 😁

I am a 75 year old retired physician and surgeon. I have lived in many places and have had many dentists. Many of them were good, and some were very good. But i can confidently say that Dr. Ho is the best.

He possesses all the attributes one would want in one’s dentist. I would say the most important one is tremendous skill. His numbing shots are done not only without pain, but without any sensation at all. His work is beautiful and is performed deftly and quickly. He is versed in the full spectrum of general and restorative dentistry, including implants, which in itself is impressive. Beyond the technical aspect, he is completely attentive to one’s concerns and is willing to take time, discuss options, and review x-rays in a relaxed and respectful manner. He is willing to adapt the care plan to suit the patient’s preferences, and he values the preservation of native tooth structure above all.

The staff are all friendly and helpful, and the office is well-appointed. The location is central, yet there is good off-street free parking.

In short, i recommend Dr. Ho highly and without reservation to all, including to friends and family.

From the minute you enter the office everyone is so warm and kind. It had been over 10 years since I had seen a dentist, so I knew the work would be extensive. Not once did I feel judged or looked down upon by any of the staff members but especially Dr. Ho. He was kind and welcoming and was just happy I had finally come in to take care of the much needed work. The dental hygienists had their work cut out for them but they were so understanding and made it a painless experience. Mahalo Dr. Ho and all the amazing office staff!!

First time visiting this dentist since I have not gone to the dentist for years. My co-worker referred to me and I was very satisfied with their service. They have very advanced equipment that can identified the issues accurately. Their anesthesia equipment was also very nice that I did not feel the pain the entire time, not to mention, Dr. Ho's treatment was quick and this is another reason why I did not have any stressful time during the treatment. During the treatment, he will explain what kind of treatment he is doing which made me relieved the whole time.

Dr. Ho and his practice offer excellent dental care. I switched to Dr. Ho after a friend recommended him and I am so happy that I did. You are truly treated as a member of their ohana. The office is friendly, warm and the care the is outstanding.

Dr. Ho is an amazing dentist who I've been going to for over 30 years since I was a little kid. My whole family has been going to him and we all love him and the staff! Staff is extremely friendly and Dr. Ho is very caring and informative. Best dentist by far, hands down!

First entering the office m, everyone was so nice and professional. My first visit, Dr. Ho examined me aa a second opinion. Second time was for my routine cleaning. After my cleaning, he came in to ask if I has any questions and was very nice. I switched to seeing Dr. Ho because he cares and takes his time to talk and make sure that the patient is fine. Dr.Ho and his staff are the best!If you're looking for an honest and experienced dentist,you should check out this place.I was referred here by a friend when my previous dentist retired.Dr. Ho double checks everything and found a cracked tooth i didn't know i had.They have a digital xray machine that can instantly show an enlarged picture.Thank God he saw the crack because it was from 2 sides and could have broken in half.He was able to save my tooth without an expensive root canal.Dr. Ho also saved me from going to a specialist for gum disease that was starting because i smoke cigarettes.He told me the things i could do and did a deep cleaning procedure that worked.Also,all of his staff are very professional and they won't overcharge you or do any unnessasary work,like i read about in other dentists reviews.

I have had the good fortune of having Dr. Stephen R Ho, DDS as my dentist in Honolulu, Hi for many years. He has always taken excellent care of me and my entire family. The staff are all professional and friendly, they go above and beyond to ensure you are in good hands.
When you first enter the office, Char the office manager always greets you immediately making you feel welcomed. She is very helpful with scheduling and calling the day before to give you a friendly reminder of your upcoming appointment. Natalie the dental hygienist is very affable, she is gentle and thorough with my teeth cleanings. Cathy the lead dental assistant, assists Dr. Ho during dental treatment procedures. She is very diligent and ensures that the proper safety and sterilization was conducted.
Dr. Ho has great bedside manner, being that I work in healthcare I think this is key in making the patient feel comfortable. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain and answer any questions you may have. Dr. Ho is definitely trustworthy and credible. I truly could not recommend a better dentist and staff.

Amazing dentist and staff! I’m so grateful to have found a good dentist. They are so kind and accommodating. If you are nervous or don’t like going to the dentist, this is the place for you. I cannot say enough good things about them!
