Kaimuki Center for Dentistry provides exceptional dental care. I have been seeing Dr. Tasaka for over 20 years. Christine is amazing and does great cleanings and also provides dental education. Marcela makes scheduling so easy. I highly recommend the Kaimuki Center for Dentistry. Everyone there is kind and pleasant, going to the dentist has been a positive experience for me.

Dr Tasaka is fantastic! He does his best to explain things to us folks who donβt know about teeth. He did a crown on an implant for me that was fantastic. His team is also extremely friendly and coming in to the environment feels safe!

Dental hygienist, Christine, was as usual superb in her work and very conscientious investigating an anomaly with my gums to Dr. Kyrell Wright who in my book exudes the confidence and verbal competency to explain my problem so typical of a great practitioner of his art. His name should rightly be recast as Dr. Kyrell the Great, but he is too humble for that moniker.

This review is long overdue! I was back in Kaimuki for a month this past summer and long overdue for a cleaning, but of course waited until I had an emergency (I chipped a front tooth) to try and find a dentist. I was so afraid my tooth would continue to break so was frantically calling numerous dentists in the area. Before I was lucky enough to find this place (I know as Kaimuki Center for Dentistry), I was looking at a wait of several days up to a week or more. But the wonderful people here squeezed me in the same day and told me they would add a cleaning if a space opened up. Not only was the fix for my chipped tooth perfect AND they did in fact squeeze me in for a cleaning, everyone was so kind and the dentist was chatty and funny. Also, they were running a special deal and it is the cheapest cleaning I have ever received! (About 1/3 of what I am used to paying on the mainland.) I will go back anytime I am in Oahu (seriously, if I can plan travel to coincide for when I need dental work I will for this place!) and simply cannot recommend more highly! This place is a true gem!
