Island Dental? Hard to get an appointment, but they never leave you sitting around very long when you get here. My only experience is with Dr Lee. He is very skillful and gentle. My teeth are in terrible shape from years of neglect, but he is doing a great job of getting me fixed up. All in all, they are doing a great job. I've seen the worst of dentistry here on Maui and also some of the best. Island Dental is one of the best.

As someone who has dentist anxiety, everyone who has helped me has been extremely kind, patient, and understanding with me! They were very quick to help me with my severe tooth pain and I got scheduled for a root canal in just a month! Would definitely recommend :)

Dr. Dugan and all of his staff are the best! I was grateful to be referred here by a former employee when I first moved to Maui over 4 years ago. From every visit whether it be for cleanings or major dental work I feel completely confident in their care. Dr. Dugan goes above and beyond with communication following procedures to ensure your anxieties are settled and your dental care is in the utmost expert hands. The staff are excellent at fitting you in for emergencies outside of normal office hours which is unheard of in this day and age! I appreciate knowing my dental needs will always be their top priority and I feel blessed to have found them and are nearby in the heart of town as well. Last visit I told Dr. Dugan we need to clone him for when he needs to go on vacation, etc but I also feel safe that if I ever need referred out he will make sure I'm in just as competent care as he provides. Iβve been a patient for more than 12 years , appointments made by staff for cleanings without my consent and then charged 50 dollars because I tried to cancel a Monday appointment on a Friday. They say 48 hours witch is outrageous and then because there closed on Friday my request to cancel was denied , Friday to Monday is 72 hours if Iβm not mistaking , but itβs all good , Iβll never go back . Not to mention the crown they put in was not placed correctly and Iβve had bite issues and pain for about a year, and their only concern is my missed cleaning appointment that I never scheduled . The front desk staff is rude and uncaring
