Iโve been going to Lihue Dental for 7 years now and have always received exceptional care! The dental hygienist are very gentle and professional for cleanings and the dentist is top-notch! Dr Ameer is very good at helping you to feel comfortable with what heโs doing and making sure that you remain comfortable for the entire time heโs doing his work. Everyone is also very personable! I started coming here about a year ago after an awful experience at another dentist office here on Kauai. Thankfully, Dr. Ameer and the dental hygenists here are absolutely wonderful! I have an extreme fear of the dentist and despise going (thanks, childhood trauma) but they really do their best to help me (try to) stay calm. I love how Dr. Ameer is on the "cautionary" side and marks teeth "to watch" instead of calling everything a cavity and filling it right away (this should be a common practice, but sadly, in my experience, it isn't at all). Staff are also super friendly and knowledgeable (which is amazing to find anywhere these days...). It feels like a team/family environment at this office and I really appreciate how they all communicate to provide the best care. I highly recommend coming here if you need a dentist!

The best dentist my wife and I have ever been to. She was referred by and friend and was pleased that dr Ameer took the time to not only do a new filling, but polish and reshape some of her older fillings. Him and his staff are very polite and it was a relaxing and nice atmosphere.

Excellent dentist, friendly staff. The best dentist on Kauai hands down. Honest, humble, and helpful. Has referred me to another dentist for part of my treatment, because he thought my condition required a level of treatment that called for an oral surgeon. I used to dread my dental appointments. Dr Ameer is very professional and knowledgeable! He answered all my questions with very helpful information to suit my needs for my broken tooth. His staff fit me in his schedule soon and get me out quickly. Really pleasant experience with the receptionistโs and dental hygienistโs professionalism as well. Grateful to have found Lihue dental!

Dr. Ameer and staff were incredible. I had a dental emergency that was very painful and required immediate attention that not only my own dentist wouldnโt see me for, but 6 other dentist wouldnโt see me for. Dr. Ameerโs staff squeezed me in the same day to help me. From the beginning of the visit with a caring, friendly front office staff, to Dr. Ameerโs assistant and Dr Ameer himself, who was so kind and genuinely caring until the end of the visit taking care of the painful wisdom tooth , was more than a wonderful visit. We are now happy to say that we have found a new dentist for our family. Thank you Dr.Ameer and staff for going above and beyond!!

The doc and his staff were great and made me feel comfortable during the entirety visit. As I was over on vacation I felt they went out of their way to get me in the next day and expeditiously took care of my problem that I could immediately eat ahh the food I enjoy and do all the activities that I enjoy, especially fishing.
