Dr Wee & Dr Kim is amazing dentist! From the front of the office to the back of the office, they make you feel comfortable. Plus they have TVs on the top of the ceilings so you can watch Netflix and relax lol.
My daughter came here because she was in pain and our regular (former now) dentist in Wahiawa didn't do anything to help her. She made her stay in pain for 2 days and then seen her and told her she was going to send her to specialist in Waipio. So, we called Mauka Family Dental and they took her in right away. They found out what was wrong and helped her. All her pain was gone.
My whole family changed dentist to Mauka. We are all happy now. The other dentist in Wahiawa only liked to take our money and not do anything. This dental is caring and helpful. Also, I had an emergency for my dental and Dr Kim came in on his day off and helped me. Amazing!!!!
Dr Wee is really great too. He is our normal dentist. I got my Invisalign (retainers) from them even if I straightened my teeth with smiledirectclub. You can see either of them. They are great and they open on weekends as well.

After I made an appointment with Mauka Family Dental I received a text message. I was directed to a web page where I filled out all my information. This made it extremely easy when I arrived because there was no paperwork to fill out.
As I walk into the facility the first thing I noticed is how immaculate it is. Then I was greeted by an extremely friendly and helpful receptionist. The overall vibe was friendly and calming.
For those of you that dread your dental visits I can tell you that there was a calming effect sitting in the waiting area. There was soothing music and spectacular landscapes playing on the TV's.
Dr. James Wee is my dentist. He did my exam. He was very concerned about my overall health, especially caring for my teeth. I felt he took his time during the exam and was not rushing to hurry up and get to the next patient. He informed me on how to have better home care and made me aware of things I can do so that way I can take better care of my teeth.
Mrs. Kasey Wee performed my cleaning. I have very sensitive teeth (I mean really sensitive). She cleaned my teeth with the utmost care. At no point did I feel pain or discomfort. Kasey explained what she was doing throughout the process and took her time to make sure that she did a thorough job.
After everything was said and done I felt like family there. This is where I will go from now on to get my dental work complete. I am going to recommend anyone I meet that needs dental work complete to go to Mauka Family Dental. I now see why Dr. James Wee was voted by his peers as one of Hawaii’s Best Dentists in Honolulu magazine multiple times. He is the best.

This was my first time at this Dental office , so I was a little uncomfortable, but as soon as I reached the front desk and seen my name on the welcome board and greeted so friendly by the Staff, I felt at ease .
My treatment was excellent from beginning to end, they are really concerned about you! I want to Thank Dr Wee and his Staff for this experience and looking forward to my next appointment!

One of the best experiences I’ve had, staff was friendly and welcoming. I haven’t been to a dentist in a long time due to covid and not having dental I was afraid of the high cost of having my teeth fixed. The team and staff were soo positive in looking forward to helping me with a better smile. Heard so many good things about dr wee and after seeing him in action I can tell it’s all true. So glad to have found this place and the prices are affordable. I look forward to taking care of all my dental needs here as well as recommending them to friends and family. Though I was nervous going in, it was my first dental appointment since Covid-19, I wasn’t sure what to expect. They had it down tight, sanitizers outside/inside, and it was just my husband and I in there for our appointments, along with the professionals. There was plenty of room, and I was assured the rooms got throughly cleaned out via UV after each use. My cleaning was wonderful and Dr. Ji was great!! It’s a great new practice.

I like this dental office. I had to find a dentist to do a yearly check-up and the entire staff was very friendly from the receptionist, the hygienist to the dentist. They are very thorough and gives you advice based on what’s best for you and not for them to make money off of you. I had such a good experience, I immediately switched my 2 daughters to this clinic. I would highly recommend this dentist office!

Last time I visited a dentist was 10 years ago because I had a bad experience going to a dentist ( phobia) finally I gathered my courage to try and find a dentist in this island (oahu). I found this dental office through google and they had a good review, so I decided to give it a shot since my teeth were getting bad and needed to be fixed. I finally made my appointment. I was really scared and nervous when I was coming on the office.( office is super clean ) I met the receptionist who was really kind and helpful then meet nina (dental assistant) she made sure i had nothing to worry about. she even hold my had one time that I was shaking a little bit and breathing heavy (that was thoughtful of her) then I met Dr james who is very professional. He is the most hones dentist I’ve met, he told me how he’s going to fix my teeth (step by step ). Finally my teeth got fixed 2 1/2 months later ( oral extraction,healing,moldings for denture then denture) I am happy with my new smile and I am not embarrassed to talk to people anymore. Over all I got a good experience going to Mauka family dental office . Thanks again for bringing back my confidence 👍👍

The clinic made sure it's a safe environment during covid by having safety protocols in place. Everyone was very nice, the doctor and the nurse were really professional, made the visits pleasant with their care.
