I would be careful before going here, simply because the dentist seemed eager to suggest the most expensive solutions for some issues I was having. I had a couple cavities, which he suggested crowns for, which are about $1,000 per crown. I also had a root canal that was infected, which the dentist suggested a dental implant as the solution (about $5,000). I decided to seek advice from another dentist, who told me that crowns were completely unnecessary and fillings would suffice. I next went to a root canal specialist who repaired the infected root canal and also said that an implant was a very expensive and time consuming surgery that was unnecessary for my condition. To top it off, the dentist seemed very impatient and like he was in a hurry. I felt like I was just an inconvenience to him, rather than a patient needing care. I would just be very careful before trusting the dentists here. I say that mainly because this particular business has a lot of fancy equipment that I'm sure is expensive for them to have and maintain. I would just recommend getting a second opinion before committing to expensive procedures.

I was in Moscow for mom's weekend when my son complained about a horrible toothache, being that I'm not from the area and that it's a Saturday, I wasn't sure where to go, I googled and came across Dr. Hanson; and was impressed with the reviews, I contacted him Saturday morning and by 2:00 Saturday afternoon he met me and my son in his office, I was so grateful!!!!! my son ended up having a very infected absess leading to a root canal. I cannot begin to say how impressed I was with his skills and gentle manners, my son will continue to go there for his dental work. from the bottom of my heart, thank you Dr.Hanson for answering my call and helping us out when we needed it, again I am very grateful.

Love my hygienist at Palouse View Dental and l admire and respect Dr. Clay Hansen very much. Down to earth kind of guy. Sticking with them! My health benefits plan helps cost-share some of the preventative items, but they (Palouse View Dental) seem pretty limited on the kind of insurances they take. Unless one has a plan that covers LOTS of procedures, you can expect to pay some out-of-pocket charges. The dental office does offer a $39/month "plan" that seems to be pretty good coverage (especially if one is plagued by bad or sub-standard oral health and significant work needs to be done annually). But the plan doesn't seem to be much help for more costly restorative work like caps, crowns, bridges, cosmetic work, etc. 10% discount, I believe...not much. That's Ok, I don't believe in a "free ride" anyhow in our society, and I'll stick with my more minimalist health insurance coverage.
