It’s always a little scary going to a new dentist office.(at least for me)
My daughter came here and was very happy, so I thought I’d try it out also. I was so happy with the entire office, friendly staff, awesome hygienist Jen, gentle and very thorough. I met with the visiting dentist who I really liked, but looking forward to meeting the owner also Dr. Tingey next time, my daughter said he was amazing! So if you need anything dental? This is your 1 stop office. Very clean, friendly and talented staff. And leaving in no pain! Thank you Jen and North Star for a great experience.❤️

I have had previous traumatic experiences at the dentist, so after 3 years of avoiding the dentist and hearing great things about North Star, I finally went. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the dental hygienist who worked on my teeth made me feel comfortable. It was the best experience I've had at a dentist, and I am so lucky to have found a great office that put all my worries at ease! They are the best.

Wow! North Star does amazing work! I’ve been a patient there for nearly two years - getting routine cleanings done (looking forward to it every time); but this past week, I got some slight cosmetic but necessary work done, and I feel like a new person! I recently had a tooth pulled and the area prepared for an implant. It went very smoothly with little discomfort and is now healing well. Very friendly and helpful! I just moved to the area and had an unfortunate dental emergency. I called in the morning and was seen early afternoon. Dr. Tingey diagnosed the issue and provided me with a couple different ways to tackle it. Excellent first impression and I felt comfortable(besides the toothache) the entire time. The fam just found our dentist!

Staff are always very friendly (and fun!). The hygienists do a great job at cleaning and x-rays, and the doctor follows up to inspect and deal with any other issues. If you don't have dental insurance, they offer an affordable in-house plan you should ask about. Conveniently located on highway 44 in downtown Star.
