I have been a patient here for over 13 years. The dentists do great work. No doubt. But the woman who was “answering phones” on Friday, November 2nd was rude, impatient, condescending, and left she standing in the cold with the door open while she belittled me from not keeping better records. I was visibility upset by her treatment of me and she coldly excused her behavior by saying she needed to get back in and answer phones. I rushed to my car in tears and drove directly over to Chrisman & Wyse and made an appointment.
Heartless woman, I ask you. How would you want YOUR daughter treated by the front line at a dentist’s office after she’s been with her mother every step of the way as she’s endured and survived a heart attack, a triple bypass, two strokes, a sternal reopening caused by a massive staph infection, the removal of her sternum, two debridements, a pectoral skin flap surgery to close her up, and c-diff. Yes, four surgeries in three hospitals in 8 short weeks.
But why did I stop by on Friday? To discuss the cost of replacing her dentures that the hospital threw away with her lunch tray.
Thank you for telling me that I need to keep better records. Thank you for your unsympathetic and unsolicited advice. And thank you for giving me the absolute certainty that I will never walk through those doors again. You will never have the opportunity to treat me or my mother like that ever again.
Now go answer your phone.
