they were great! I chipped my tooth and they got me right in. my insurance isn't great but they were knowledgeable and gentle. sylvie and denise took very very good care of me. :)

I was a first time customer and the receptionist was lovely. Everything was going fine until I noticed one of the doctors (I don’t remember his name but Hes Indian with glasses) was being extremely rude to his employees! He was honestly treating them so bad. He was super rude with me and made me very uncomfortable. He kept disregarding my questions and basically shoving me aside and kept rushing the cleaning. I went out of my way to go to this dentist since I kept seeing good reviews. But unfortunately that one doctor completely ruined it for me. Please re consider that doctor and switch him out with someone else. Not only was he extremely rude to his employees and made me uncomfortable/feeling rushed. I’m sure he’s made plenty others uncomfortable too.

Had a great experience here. I had to come in and get a tooth pulled and they were nothing but nice and comforting to me. When it was time they numbed me perfectly, I couldn't feel a thing, and they walked me through exactly what they were doing for me. They will be doing the rest of the work that needs done to me. You will like them. Thank you Lakewood for your help!

The "team" who worked on me were all great! It had been a while and I had a chipped back toothe and was a little nervous. Dr. G was perfect and not once did he give me pain while drilling and scraping. I am very picky about who works on my teeth and I highly recommend him/them. They were all so nice and I felt at ease during my entire chair time. My daughters have been going there for a couple years and I have had no complaints with them either. We will continue seeing them and are confident they will take good care of us.

Dr. Josh and Denise are always a pleasure! I never have pain or issues with the numbing meds! I never feel pain when they do fillings or extractions! Thank y'all soo much!!

My daughter and I went to have a routine check up. They were backed up so everything was rushed. My daughter got her teeth cleaned, but I didn't get any service. Apparently laughing is not allowed in office lol. Dentist was rude as hell and unprofessional. We will be looking for a new dentist.

Ive always went to Bradley dental but I couldn't get in there so I decided to make an appointment at Lakewood family dental. I was scared at first bc only one dentist has ever worked on my teeth but they were absolutely amazing!!! The Dr told me everything that was wrong and stuff that I didn't understand he actually showed me on the x-rays! He explained everything he was gonna do before he did it. My appointment did take a very long time but only because the Dr took his time to do it right instead of rushing through it. He did an amazing job and id highly recommend anyone to lakewood family dental in Bloomington!!!!

Do not go here!! All they care about is making money off their patients!! Definitely don't take your kids here!! Very horrible !! I took my 8yr old daughter here last Saturday for a cavity filling and she was terrified. The hygienist, Denise , was super nice and tried to calm her down. The doctor who barely spoke English has no sympathy for her and did absolutely nothing to try to make the situation better. I asked if it was necessary to do the filling since it was a very small cavity and asked if we could do it close to her into appointment since she was so terrified. He strongly insisted and almost started without my consent and the hygienist to assist. He threatened that if I decided not to do it then and there that my daughter would be subjected to a root canal and eventually an extraction. He was very rude with me and when I asked to have a minute to calm my very upset little girl , he rolled his eyes at me and threw the dental tool he was holding down on the tray. Both of my daughters have never had a bad experience with a dentist until now. When they beg not to go to the dentist and are terrified and in tears.. Time to look for a dentist who not only cares for their patients but makes kids feel comfortable about going to the dentist. I will never go here again!! Please do not go to this dentist.. I cannot stress that enough.!!
