Aspen Dental

I went to Aspen Dental yesterday for the first time ever... along with my husband... we do not have dental insurance so we took advantage of their special for x-rays/exam/consultation @ $19 each. Neither of us had been to a dentist in a very long time and we made our appointments because we knew we had issues that needed addressed... From the receptionist, to the dental assistants and hygienist, dentist and the person that talks pricing to you, everyone treated us fantastic! We are actually in a tight time frame before we will be leaving the area for 5 months (3 weeks to be exact with thanksgiving week being one of those weeks) and they got the ball rolling right away! I had three extractions and my hubby got some of his work started too... we have two more appointments scheduled and it should pretty much have us in good shape before we leave... so far I would definitely recommend them! I hope I’m asked to do another review once all of our work is completed so I can provide more in depth information!

Poor customer service. I scheduled online for a general dental exam and received the confirmation email and a call from their office stating that my appointment was confirmed. Once arrived, the staff said my appointment wasn't confirmed and wanted to reschedule. Their website says the first exam is free but the staff said its not for Illinois- website should clarify that. Overall bad experience- would not recommend.

My first time at Aspen dental and my first time at the dentist for a long time. They made me feel comfortable the whole time and we’re very encouraging about the habits I can change. I would recommend them to a friend.

After the delivery of my 3rd baby I ended up breaking two teeth all within a couple weeks of each other. With only 1 1/2 weeks left of my maternity leave I needed to get into some where as soon as possible. I contacted Aspen Dental after hearing wonderful things about them and was scheduled for my consultation a few days later. By the end of my consult I was very well aware I had more than just a couple broken teeth to deal with. They set me up with Josh (the office manager) to go over my treatment plan and by the end of it was told my final bill would be around 5700.00. I was shocked!!!! He got me set up with Care Credit that would allow me to make affordable monthly payments which put me at ease about what I would owe. He squeezed me in to every available opening and cancelation to make sure I wouldn't need to take time off of work after my return. This included convenient Saturday morning appointments as well as Tuesday evenings. After some pretty bad experiences with other dentists I was terrified with everything that needed to be done. The staff was very reassuring and let me know everything was going to go just fine. Everyone at Aspen dental has been so friendly~ You can not put a price on quality work and great customer service and that is exactly what you receive from the moment you walk in their doors to the moment you walk out. I have finally found my family dentist and plan on referring anyone in need of one to Aspen Dental. I've got my smile back!

This best experience from a medical facility.
Not business like, but professional. I was treated as if they had known me for years. What a pleasant surprise from a Dental facility. A trip to the Dentist has always been shrouded with dark humor and the feeling of dread, but from the first visit to my second appointment I felt at home and comfortable.

The staff was very pleasant, and with a good sense of humor they made sure there were no surprises. It wasn't like they went out of their way to make me feel at home, more like that it came naturally. They made me the center of attention and every step was a personal touch by everyone. I was confident that I was in good hands by good people. We had some great laughs....5 Stars all the way.

This was the first dentist office I went to after moving here. Shauni is was a Dental Assistant who spent the morning with me making sure I was comfortable and answered all my questions, chatted with me to pass the time, great personality is always a plus! She checked on me when I waiting for the Dr to come in. The rest of the staff is nice and polite the facility is clean. Everyone is super helpful if you have questions. I see all the negative reviews here but I dont see it!

I've only been to Aspen Dental twice, and already know I'd recommend them to other people. They are extremely personable, and made me feel like they actually care about the welfare of my mouth. The office managers Jennifer and Joe, have been extremely helpful, and I can't remember the dental assistants name, but she was freaking great. She was honest and up front and stayed with me almost the entire time, answering every question I had. I can't wait to see my new smile.

The customer service was very good and the staff was very friendly also helpful the explained as they went aloning they ask what you would like to
see. I felt Very comfortable with the dentist.

How often can an individual give a very favorable report about a visit to the dentist office? Of all the experiences that an person can encounter a visit to the dentist has to be high on the "Do Not Like" list. This has been my experience for over 55 years.
Not so this time! Aspen Dental in Champaign presents a friendly, helpful and caring presence. Every individual went out of their way to make my first visit as enjoyable as a visit to a dentist could possibly be. They were solicitous of my concerns, asking questions to help allay any fear or concern I might have. I felt cared for! Although the procedures were typical of what you could expect, they took time to make sure that I was as comfortable as could be achieved.
The business office experience was straight forward, no hidden costs or procedures. They "took me through" all the costs and what the insurance company would pay and what I would pay. Refreshing.
Perhaps the most surprising aspect of the visit was that I was able to schedule my procedures according to my timetable.
OKAY, no visit to the dentist could possibly be given a "10". However, the professionalism, efficiency and friendliness of this group is surely a "10"! No more need to "grit your teeth" and endure the visit. Take advantage of their expertise.
