I’ve needed gum graft surgery for 6 years due to poor orthodontic work (braces), and I finally did something about it today. First, I can’t begin to say how quick, communicative, and professional the team is at Northside Dental. Diane did everything possible to inform me of my appointment and any information I needed to provide before my visit. Now onto the surgery. Dr. Ho made me feel so comfortable and accounted for when getting the procedure done. He also has a detailed and thorough approach to treatment and conducted this procedure effortlessly. I experienced minimal to no bleeding afterward. He’s beyond a professional at what he does, given he also taught at Marquette School of Dentistry. I recommend those needing periodontal work make an appointment with Dr. Wei Ting (Mark) Ho.

I had to bring my 2 year old with me to my appointment and everyone at Northside Dental was so kind and accommodating. I was initially going to reschedule my appointment for a time when I wouldn’t have my daughter with me, but they reassured me that I could absolutely bring her and emphasized their child friendly office. When we arrived, they entertained her at the toy treasure chest while I got X-rays. When my cleaning started, my daughter got anxious, so I sat her in my lap and they played one of her favorite shows on the large monitor. The hygienist gently explained everything she was doing as she cleaned my teeth, so my daughter wouldn’t be scared, and the dentist let her press buttons on the water/air sprayer, which she loved. She was also given two kids toothbrushes to take home, one of which she insisted on using during our walk home to “brush teeth”! This situation could have been very stressful/challenging, but Northside Dental made it very positive and I could not be more grateful!!

I have been going to Northside Dental for a couple of years now and it’s the best dentist experience I’ve had. Everyone is so kind, professional and thoughtful. I have a lot of anxiety around going to the dentist due to past experiences and bad teeth from a young age, but Dr. Agran and all the hygienists are calm, explain everything thoroughly and are reassuring. They just keep getting better and keep up with the latest technology. I believe they just purchased a 360 x-ray machine to pinpoint any and all problems quickly, painlessly and conveniently.
