They should definitely take the word affordable out of their name. They did get me in pretty quickly, but because they had to use AN extra tool, my extraction went from $100 something to $400. All in all, probably won’t be back unless it’s another emergency situation.

When I arrived 10 minutes prior to my scheduled 7:30am appointment, I noticed the office lights were off. I did not think much about it because I normally wait in the parking lot until they turn the lights on and open the door after their morning staff meeting. When the office was still not open at 7:33, I called their number. The person who answered said they were open. I asked if they were still in their staff meeting because the front office lights were still off. She asked which office, and I told her Columbia. She asked me to hold while she checked, then said their "page" says the office is closed. I asked about my appointment and she replied that she doesn't know what to tell me because they are closed for the day...she is just the answering service. I asked about the next day and was told "the page" says closed again. They should be back on Monday. She looked back on "the page" for Columbia and it showed they were closed for two weeks. Then she asked if I was sure I had an appointment. I replied yes, and I even received a "friendly reminder" text the day before. My appointment was scheduled last August, during that appointment. Sure would have been nice if I was notified because I had to rearrange things at work so I could take off for my dentist appointment. She told me she will relay the message to the office manager.

Staff is great. They are knowledgeable and courteous. Love my hygienist, she does a great job! Dr. Akins is kind and understanding and is considerate of your needs.

This place charges 380 per tooth regardless of molar or not... that's alot more than smiles are forever at 165 dollars a tooth... ridiculous highway robbery style billing.. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!! GET QUOTES FROM ANYWHERE ELSE!!

I have a lot of anxiety about the dentist. Everyone at affordable dentistry was so kind and caring with me. They answered all my questions and made me feel so much better. I have deep cleanings coming up with Theresa. Normally I’d be terrified ,but after meeting Theresa today, I feel a lot better about it.

I absolutely hated going to the dentist for my entire adult life because my smile was awful. I started going to Affordable Dentistry Today in Columbia in April of 2017 after I got a card in the mail. Let me tell you, that was the best decision I have ever made!! In the last year my smile has completely changed. I am more confident, outgoing and happy than I have ever been and this office is the reason! The staff is amazing and supportive. I can not say enough great things! My appointments are easy to make and I have never waited more than a few minutes to get in which is a common problem at any type of medical or dental appointment. These folks know their jobs from front to back from making the schedule with plenty of wiggle room to ensuring that your teeth don't wiggle at all. 😁 GO HERE!!! You'll be happy that you did!!

I LOVE going to the dentist now. I can not say enough great things about this place! Everyone that works here is always such a delight. It doesn't matter if you call or stop in, they are always so nice and friendly. They address all of my concerns when needed and help find a solution. The worst part of the dentist for me is getting the numbing shot for a filling. When doc administers it, I feel NOTHING! What a blessing! They also are well priced. They even offer Invisalign treatment! I love this place and everyone who works here. I will never go anywhere else!

Only complaint was waiting so long for permanent cap on first root canal and the added expense of second application of the temporary cap.
