This office is beautiful! Not only that but the staff is super friendly and speak both English and Spanish. I didn’t have to wait long in the waiting area, which is really nice, it shows they value my time. Dr. Yong Kim was very friendly and very knowledgeable in educating me about my dental health. I would highly recommend !

What a great dental office. By far the best customer service was given to my family and I my kids enjoyed their dental visit which doesn’t really happen at any other dental office we have been to . Receptionist was very nice and patient with explaining our copayment before collecting and I really appreciated that. This office most definitely became our favorite go to dental office. Thank you Shining Smiles!!

Highly, highly, highly recommend especially for children!! Staff was quick and patient with both my 5 and 1 year old children! They made my son feel comfortable after a horrific experience with his previous dentist. The dr. took his time with me and answered all my concerns. I am thrilled to have found this dentist for my kids! My 5 year old son says he cant wait to go back in 6 months!!

Dr Kim is amazing. I haven't come across a dentist like him. I have dental anxiety. Dr Kim and his staff are helpful, patient with me. I even get to wear the weighted vest during my visit. They go above and beyond here. Thats hard to find these days.

I arrived to the office in pain and with a swollen gum. The ladies that work there are very attentive. The doctor took care of my problem in a very profesional way, NO PAIN AT ALL during the whole procedure! he is very knowledgeable., as a patient I can tell he knows what he is doing. “Shiny Smiles” Highly recommended!.

100% satisfied. Dr. Kim and his staff are the best. Very welcoming, kid friendly. My kids enjoy coming to their dentist appointment which doesn’t happen very often with any doctor visits. So happy to have found this place.

Dr Kim is fabulous. But I am now questioning their deceptive billing practices. I was told my procedures were covered 100% through insurance then received a call midway my treatment that i owe thousands of dollars above what they were paid already ans since I wasn't willing to just pay the overbilling. They canceled my appointments

The people here are really nice and when kids come here they could be always be focused on something's else than the sealing there looking up at. They have TV's for the kids to watch while the dentist is working on your teeth, and last but not least there not that expensive either. Personally I would recommend.

I was warmly welcomed by staff right away, taken back immediately to take pictures of my teeth. I was extremely awkward, but the lovely dental assistant walked me through the process while making me feel less uncomfortable about the situation.Dr. Kim knew he needed to pull a cracked wisdom tooth, as well as fix major cavities and cracked teeth all over my mouth. He explained everything to me from start to finish in a way I could understand, and reassured me everything would be okay, we would take it slow and get my teeth looking great again! I could barely feel him giving me my first shot of novacaine and he constantly asked if I was okay or if I needed a break, making sure I wasn’t in pain which was super nice. My wisdom tooth came out in one piece super painless, and I am super happy with my experience! Thank you Dr. Kim and staff!

Shining Smiles Joliet location is a clean, nice environment, all the staff is really kind, friendly, helpful and personable, I feel they genuinely want to assist with whatever concerns you may have. The only complaint I can think of is that the appointments can seem a little rushed if you're the type of person that likes to ask a lot of questions and have complete clarification like myself ( but I somewhat understand because they do have other patients that need to be seen ) Dr. Kim seems to be experienced and I like that, although I can't necessarily say that about other dentist that I've seen at this same location ( I do believe the other dentist I'm referencing no longer works there).
