On 7/2/2020, I went to Dr. Mitsos office for a routine cleaning. I immediately ask him about a tooth I was concerned with. He grabbed his utensils off his tray and started poking in my mouth. After he did that, I looked around and noticed the sink still had the previous patients blood and saliva in it. In that moment, I was very concerned that the utensils he just used in my mouth were not sterilized before he used them on me and were used on the previous patient. The receptionist then came into the room and performed an x-ray. After she did that, she then wiped out the dirty sink, along with other surfaces in the office, with a cloth. She then pulled out a vacuum-sealed bag of fresh utensils and placed them on the doctors tray. I was then extremely concerned that the utensils he used on me already were not sterilized at all. When the doctor came back, he lazily performed my teeth cleaning without wearing a mask. I thought that was unacceptable, especially with the covid 19 epidemic happening right now. He did not wear a mask at all the whole time I was there. While he was cleaning my teeth, he was not paying attention and the base of his rotating cleaning tool caught on my bottom lip and it burned very badly. My lip is now split open.
I very much wanted to report these things to someone who could do something about it. The last thing I want is for anybody to get a disease or illness from unsterile utensils being used on them and also a doctor who does not wear a mask. I also don't want anyone else to suffer any injuries from this lazy doctor.

Let me tell you, this guy is the best of the best. Number one dentist. You’re doing yourself a disservice by going anywhere other than Dr. Mitsos
