I went in for an appointment and was greeted right away but the staff up front who were very friendly. Taylor (hygienist) then called me back and was very knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell that she really enjoys her job, which is awesome. The customer service makes you feel very welcoming, which is a huge plus coming into a dentist facility!!!

The only reason I'm giving a one star is because the girls in the back are super professional! The dentist and the office manager, are a different story! I've left several calls for her to call me about my treatment plan and bill! Got a vm early in the morning when I couldn't talk! But I've left over a dozen messages to get 1 vm from her! She and the dentist are trying to bill my insurance for work not done! I'm fighting these charges with my insurance company to not pay the charges for work not done ! It's like 1,000 $ worth of work submitted and not done! They are over priced as well! I know the work was not done because I went to two different dentist paying out of pocket for the visits! Because aspen ate half my benefits up for work not done! I questioned the office manager about those charges and she said (" well I wasn't in the room, so I wouldn't know! Take it up with the dentist and insurance!") I can't see the dentist because they want more money to see him! After paying almost 4,000 and I can't see him until I pay what they call the remaining balance! I've moved to a different dentist office and will be fighting for my refund and my dental benefits to be reimbursed! Don't waste your time or money !!!!

It is a wonderful office. Everyone is friendly, caring and yet very professional. The equipment was state of the art. Alina and Emily were wonderful about making sure I was comfortable every step of the way. We had such fun with Rachel, the treatment coordinator, who explained every step and cost of future care.

I was in excruciating pain from a cavity that had broken lose. Which I stupidly ignored, and allowed to get worse until the point of infection. I do not recommend doing this! When you notice a problem, call the dentist ASAP to make an appointment. Don't do what I did. The left side of my cheek/jaw/teeth were throbbing, and I was having the worst shooting pains. It was constant..I hadn't slept in a couple days because of how painful it was. I felt as though I was losing my mind! I tried calling many different dentists and no one was able to get me in. Finally I called Aspen Dental and they scheduled me in that same day. I then decided to read the reviews and saw many horrible reviews where people who were in a similar situation as me had gone to Aspen and did not have the best experience. Reviews that said all they wanted was money and were trying to sell them procedures they didn't necessarily need. Or they needed a tooth pulled due to infection, like mine, and they did nothing for them. That was not the case for me! They were so helpful, and accommodating. They immediately prescribed me an antibiotic and medication for the pain. I asked if the doctor would be able to pull the tooth since it was a 2nd molar and the infection had spread so far that it wasn't just in the tooth anymore. It had also spread into my cheek. They asked the doctor, and he agreed to pull the tooth. Dr. Xue is who I saw and he was absolutely wonderful. So kind, and empathetic to what I was going through. I didn't have enough money to pay for the entire extraction. Dr. Xue and the treatment plan coordinator named Rachel worked with me so I could have the tooth pulled anyhow. The only downside was they don't have gas at the Machesney park location so I had to have the numbing injection only. But the Dr. made sure to numb me enough so I did not feel any pain..pressure only. When you're in that much pain you'll take the needle! It's been 4 days now and I feel SO much better. I'm not sure of the dental assistants name..but whoever she was. She's an angel! She was so incredibly kind, sweet, and empathetic towards me. While the doctor was pulling me tooth and I was freaking out mentally, and emotionally. She was by my side holding, and rubbing my arm telling me how good I was doing and comforting me when I really needed it. Whoever she is, she deserves a raise and recognition for the awesome job she did. She truly made the procedure more bearable simply by comforting me. I'm forever grateful to everyone at Aspen Dental. Thank you all, and job well done!

Taylor is a great hygienist. She always takes her time and has a very pleasant personality. She's been my hygienist for a few years now, and I'm very pleased with her.

I do not recommend this company at all! The quality of my life is gone because of the work I had done there. 99% of the work was NOT done by Dr. Patel. I have refused to not pay for what was done even though it ruined my credit rating.

Terrible customer service, wish I never started the Invisalign process with them. 0/10 would not recommend. It’s mainly the women that answer the phone (and if you look at other reviews other customers have had problems with these women y’all need to check your staff lol), never had any issues with the hygienist or Dr.

Dr Song made everything very clear about what they were going to do and we made a game plan. It was a nice change of pace from my old dentist

The girls at work there are super funny, super friendly, very courteous. And made me feel very welcome I'm sure to go back to the dentist now. Helpful And knowledgeable From the X-ray to the exam, had a really good time. They kept me laughing through the Whole process.

The girls who work at this location are the best. They make you feel so comfortable with the experience. Millie, Rachel, & Carrie are the BEST! Doctors are the best! I would HIGHLY recommend this location to anyone who needs dental work in the Rockford, Loves Park, Machesney Park area. If you are in the 815… go to this location!
