Dr. Kevin and Carol are great, professional dentists. Always kind and calm. Dr. Michael and Dr. Anjali are a fantastic addition to the team. Wonderful dental office! Mike and Anjali are the kindest and most thoughtful Dentists I have ever been too. I had my crown installed by another dentist years ago and it fell off last week causing my tooth to be exposed and extremely sensitive. I had to get in ASAP so I called Family Roots Dentistry in Mchenry IL. Mike and Anjali got me in the same day and had it fixed within an hour! From the initial appointment to driving home the care I received was a 10 out of 10. I have never been treated this well at any other office.

I desperately needed a late appointment and they were willing to see me at almost 8:00. The sweetest most genuinely caring staff, and the best dentist office I've ever seen! To top it all off, they have pretty high end technology. I highly recommend this wonderful dentist.

What do you call a bear without any teeth? A gummy bear! Which is why I love going to see Dr. Mike and his staff...no gummy bears here!! Such an amazing staff...friendly, professional and they all put up with my dumb jokes! My hygienist Stephanie is incredible and Dr. Mike is my fave. Thank you for making me feel so welcome and comfortable in the office! Makes the hour and ten minute drive totally worth it!!

Dr. Anjali, Dr. Mike, Dr. Kevin and the staff are all wonderful! The office is very clean, and they have great procedures that make you feel safe and comfortable during the pandemic. It was my first visit and from the receptionist to all of the ladies in the back everyone was super sweet. The Dr. had a beautiful smile and was super warm. She made me feel like we were friends for years. My teeth were cleaned extremely well, everything was explained to me and shown to me through photos, and I felt like the change I made to come here was perfect!

I'm recently new to McHenry and needed to change dentists.... WOW!!! Talk about impressive, professional, courteous, clean, tech savvy and very personable! Dr. Cheng spent quite a bit of time with me going over every detail and inquiring what my needs and wants were regarding my teeth.
He was very thorough and he showed that he truly cared and that convinced me I made the right choice! Kathleen excels in her profession and cleaned my teeth like a ROCKSTAR! She was kind and repeatedly checked with me to make sure I was ok and there were no concerns in any areas. From reception to my final rinse it was actually a pleasurable dental appointment! Among the other things I love about Family Roots Dentistry is the friendliness of everyone in the office. I truly believe their friendliness is genuine, not just because I'm their patient.
I also enjoy getting to learn about the personal lives of the doctors through the photos of their hobbies when they're not "at the office".
Not only those thimgs mentioned above, but they remember your name (even if I can't always remember theirs :)
And although there are other things to mention, I make this the last item:
they do GREAT work, and are thorough.
