I initially found Barco because, frankly, I was just trying to use my FSA dollars before the end of the year and they had an availability..but I am so glad I went to them. For someone like me who has terrible teeth the dentist is usually a rough experience but the folks here made it the best t they could.
Everyone is kind and welcoming, the office has a friendly comforting atmosphere. I just had my second appointment and it was as pleasant as getting teeth drilled on can be. Liberty was great the first time helping me with x-rays and the people at the front desk (Nicole?) were great as well explaining billing breakdowns.

Dr. Barco does great work and is very thorough. The assistant helping him was very attentive and made sure to ask every time she noticed I may need something (Not an easy task when you can't talk/move your face). The hygienist Shelly was also very thorough and gave great advice.
Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable environment with a professional team.

I just had my first exam with Dr. Barco and I was really pleased with the entire experience! The front desk staff was very friendly and pulled my insurance information in advance of the appointment so that we knew what would be covered. As a graduate student on a budget, I appreciated that they did this before I arrived so that there weren't any unexpected surprise costs. Autumn did my cleaning and she was great- she was very thorough and she explained everything as she went while offering pointers on where I could be brushing better and what kind of toothpaste and mouthwash to use. Dr. Barco was very friendly! He explained what he found and how he will continue to manage it in the future. Scheduling my appointment was easy and they took me back for my exam on time so all in all it was a great experience!

Thank you Dr. Barco and your team for a great experience in my last couple crowns. Still one to go. I've never been a fan of needles so I appreciate your gentle touch. I was also very impressed with your staff's strict attention to the SARS novel COV-2 pandemic safety protocols. See you soon.

I just had one of the best visits I’ve had at a dentist in Bloomington. As long as I am living in this area I will continue to return to Barco Family Dentistry! I had heard good things about this office and decided to see if what I heard was true. It definitely was! Dr. Barco and the very nice lady who cleaned my teeth went above my expectations. I didn’t feel rushed as I do most places and they took the time to listen to any concern I had. My teeth feel so clean and I can’t stop smiling! If you’re like me and have been searching for a dentist that makes you feel welcomed, then Barco Family Dentistry is for you!

I have fear and anxiety about going to the dentist. The 5 minutes I sat in the car psyching myself up to go inside. From the time I walked in the door until I checked out they were nothing but friendly and professional. I called and got in the same day! I was in a lot of pain. The staff, dental hygienist, and Dr Barco were absolutely amazing. After my examination they gave me a detailed breakdown of the work I needed to have done. They took my fear of seeing a dentist away with just one visit. I am glad I went there, without them I would’ve in worse shape. Now that I found this place my dental health is going to be on par! A positive dental experience is the friendliness of the staff.

Since retirement I needed a new dentist that would accept my Health sharing plan. I was not crazy about the idea since I loved my old dentist. I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful experience I had at Dr. Barco’s Office. The receptionist was helpful with the paperwork and Beth the hygienist was professional and pleasant. Dr. Barco was very upbeat and his enthusiasm and love for his profession was very obvious! Highly recommend!

Very happy to have Dr. Barco as my dentist. His new location is beautiful and has adequate off-street parking. Staff is warm and welcoming.. Redecoration of this new office continues and will be completed very soon. Do not miss an opportunity to acquire this young and knowledgeable dental professional and staff.

My experience with Dr. Barco's office was a positive experience. The hygienist, Beth, who did the deep cleaning on my teeth was very nice and knowledgable. She explained everything she was doing as she went along since I told her I was fearful of dentistry. The procedure was not pain free but surprisingly tolerable. I wanted my teeth to be whitened but she advised me that they do not do that and why. I will return here. It is expensive but you get what you pay for.

Dr. Barco's Family Dentistry is above and beyond a fantastic team, service, office, and experience. My children and I have never received anything but excellent care there. They are always polite, laid-back, considerate, friendly, professional, upfront, and timely. Could not ask for a better dentist's office all around! Thank you!!
