This place is literally scary, like horror movie dentist plot. If you are able, go somewhere else. I know this dentist accepts Medicaid so maybe it's your only choice. If that's the case stay aware of what's going on, ask questions, take notes when you leave. Do not rely on what Amanda Harris says, it was very detrimental for me. When the dental assistant was grinding in my mouth she told me the tools at gentle dentist weren't correct and that they were smoking and sparking. This is while she is working in my mouth. She also didn't grind my bite down, which left me in pain for six months. When I would tell the dentist about the pain she would refer me to a specialist. Finally the assistant heard my pleas for help and ground my tooth down when the dentist left, something they did Not note in the notes, almost like they were covering it up. Couple weeks later the inflammation in my jaw went down and I was pain free. Don't go here if you don't have to. Dr. Harris did nothing to help me after basically begging. I've heard from Gentle Dentist representatives that the majority of staff that was present for my terrible visit have been let go and replaced.

I really enjoy dr Amanda Harris and the staff. Having people who don’t make judgements about you, or who don’t wear those judgements on their sleeves if they do, makes it much easier to come in and get things addressed or fixed.

I like the dentist/hygienists but if you are a busy person, this is not the place to go. My 6 month appointment that had been scheduled for 6 months was canceled by them and they couldn't get me in for another month. They explained they were short staffed, which I understood so I rolled with it. The rescheduled appointment was for today. Planning around it, I took the afternoon off, scheduled a few other things for later in the afternoon and chose to work from home (solely because of this appt.). Realizing I hadn't received a reminder, I called to confirm. The response was, "yes we had you down for 1:00 today but we need to reschedule because that's our lunch time and no one will be here." Then why was my appointment scheduled for this time. Once, I understood. A second, with no notice or advance phone call was too much. Needless to say, I am looking for a reliable place to go. I am now over a month overdue because of this...

From someone who normally doesn’t particularly like visiting the dentist office, this office made me feel welcome and comfortable! This was the first few visits for me… by far the best dental experience I’ve had. The entire staff is wonderful! Everyone...the reception staff, dental assistants, dental hygienist, and dentist, Dr. Harris, were nice, very friendly, professional, and answered any questions I had. Thank you...appreciated greatly! I would give them many more stars than 5 if I could!
