I visited Mass Ave Family Dentistry for the first time today and have to say I am impressed by how they communicate with me and keeping me informed.
I appreciated how Amanda thoroughly explained what to expect during the visit. Even though I am accustomed to the mild discomfort of removing the calculus from my teeth, I appreciated Amanda offering an anesthetic if it became too uncomfortable. I needed to have additional work done that wasn’t included in a regular exam and I thought it was considerate of Amanda to verify what the additional cost was to me before she performed the work.
I also appreciated how I didn’t feel rushed during my office visit. Dr. So checked my teeth and was available to answer questions afterwards.

The staff and doctors at Mass Ave Family Dentistry are fantastic. They are professional, personable and punctual. I cannot emphasize enough how much I recommend this practice.
My experiences have all been extremely positive. I’ve had quite a bit of work done here: a crown, multiple cleanings, and I am actually scheduled as of writing this for some fillings.
As for the crown, my tooth was fairly damaged and was extremely difficult to repair after having a root canal; they managed to save the tooth and I haven’t had any problems: no pain and the crown has remained firmly attached and undamaged.
During their cleanings they are thorough, and, maybe most importantly, gentle. They’ve yet to so much as knick my gums during a cleaning.
Every time I leave, I am completely satisfied with my treatment.

Such a welcoming dental office. I made an appt for myself and 2 young boys. They were fantastic with them that even the almost 2 year old cooperated. I felt so at ease when usually I'm a ball of nerves getting my teeth cleaned. The hygienist was thorough and nice, I was able to relax and let her work without being tense. Dr. So addressed all of my concerns for myself and kids. I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment.

Staff was wonderful. Every step was explain with detail and a smile. Time was taken to assure I wasn’t nervous or uncomfortable. Dentist do not bother me but as this is a common fear for most people the steps taken spoke volumes with regards to their attention to such things and how to help. Options were given for a new service that I couldn’t previously afford and I was fitted same day even though this wasn’t planned. Being in the medical field and understanding what it takes to do what everyone with your office did I can’t say enough positive things. Amazing job and thank you for making my transition to this city that much better.

Never thought I would find a dentist and office as wonderful as I had the past 8 years in Chicago...i was wrong!! This place is fantastic. Everyone SO nice...hygienist didn't leave my mouth all sore and hurting, everyone explained things thoroughly/made you feel comfortable, and the biggest thing for me..trust. I've always been skeptical of dentists (like mechanics haha) but they are upfront and only suggested what was necessary without any pressure. Excited I found my new dentist!
