I just called for an emergent appointment due to a crown falling off this morning. My dental insurance has them listed first and accepting new patients. The lady on the phone asked if I was a current patient. When I told her no. She immediately told me they couldn’t get me in and they weren’t taking new patients! How RUDE!
Ya know if I came there and was treated good. I would stay a patient there! This is exactly how to get yourself a BAD review!

In the first visit Dr. Ayers and I agreed on a treatment (one that I had discussed NUMEROUS times with my previous Dentist). The second visit I had six, yes six teeth pulled. The experience was completely painless! Everyone person in the office is friendly and professional. I'm glad I finally moved back home and found such an excellent Dentist.

Upon arrival, I was a little worried. I usually end up at dentist offices with fancy furniture and all the glitzy decor which made me feel important. Boy was I wrong. This place was amazing. When they took me to the back, everything changed. The staff was constantly keeping me informed about the next process. Finally Dr. Ayers came in "very personable"and let me know that my worst nightmare wouldn't come true. He can save my teeth. Now I can have faith in the smaller businesses that go out of their way to treat people right. I would highly recommend Scottsburg Family Dentistry. Looking forward to the next visit.

Very impressed with Scottsburg Family Dentistry, the staff was very friendly, thorough, and fast. I arrived without an appointment and they were able to work me in, take x-rays for Dr. Ayers to review, then Dr.Ayers (who is very personable) performed his exam and went over all the options, in great detail, which provided me with the information I needed to make an informed decision on what was best. All this took place in a little over 30 minutes and I was on my way out the door. Highly recommend Scottsburg Family Dentistry based on my visit.

HAD CONSULT WITH DR. AYERS, I HAD MANY ISSUES AS WELL AS FEARS. HE LISTEN TO ME AND REASSURED ME. LET ME KNOW I WASN'T THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS HAD PAST TRAUMA WITH DENTISTRY.
I STIPULATED I WAS NOT ABLE TO SIT IN DENTAL CHAIR FOR THIS CONSULT. A DESK CHAIR WAS PROVIDED FOR ME IN DENTAL AREA AFTER HE ALAID MY FEARS, I WAS ABLE TO SET IN DENTAL CHAIR FOR PHOTOS OF TEETH AND THEN WE DISCUSS A PLAN OF CARE.
I AM SO THANKFUL AND HOPEFUL FOR A NEW PERSPECTIVE OF DENTISTRY IN MY FUTURE CARE PLAN.
THE STAFF WAS VERY KIND AND UNDERSTANDING. WHICH ALSO HELPED IN MY ADJUSTMENT.

JUST RETURNED FROM GETTING 3 FILLINGS A BIG WIN FOR ME IN MY JOURNEY FROM TRAUMA AS A CHILD. TO GO BACK TO APPOINTMENT WHEN NOT DRIVEN FROM PAIN! TO ACTUALLY BE GETTING MY MOUTH IN TIP TOP CONDITION FOR FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE. THAT'S A MIRACLE IN MY BOOK. THANKS AGAIN TO ENTIRE STAFF WALKING WITH ME IN MY JOURNEY. I GO BACK NEXT MONTH FOR A DENTAL CLEANING TO GET IN TIP TOP SHAPE. STAY TUNE FOR NEXT UPDATE!

I CAN'T BELIEVE I AM SAYIMG THIS BUT I WENT BACK FOR A CLEANING!! YES, I WALKED IN OF MY OWN FREE WILL NOT DRIVEN IN PAIN BUT TO ACTUALLY GET MY TEETH IN TIP TOP SHAPE FOR FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I'M PROUD TO SMILE WITH CLEAN TEETH. THE LADY WAS SO KIND AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THAT SHE WAS GOING TO DO. ALL WAS GOOD AND I NEED TO RETURN IN DECEMBER FOR FOLLOW UP. STAY TUNED FOR NEXT UPDATE!!

Emergency visit Upper front tooth throbbed last night ,hurt to touch and tooth on other side hurt to tap. So thankful Dr. AYERS could see me and do double extraction, HE IS SO GOOD IT MEANS SO MUCH TO FINALLY BE ABLE TO FEEL THAT WAY WITH A DENTIST, PLUS HIS STAFF IS A+.
next appointment for a cleaning follow up Dec 6th so to be continued!

Had a tooth get shockey ! In a lot of pain, called was able to get worked in to get taken care of which was so appreciated!
Dr. AYERS didn't want to pull it and encouraged me to do root canal but I insisted that I wanted it pulled. So he pulled it for me also found loose filling so appt made for 02/01/2023. Stay tuned for update.

I CAN'T BELIEVE I WAS MORE RELAX THAN EVER BEFORE, THE SOUND OF DRILLS WAS NOT THREATING TO ME, SUCH A DIFFERENCE THANK YOU DR. AYERS AND YOUR WONDERFUL STAFF, AND SUCH A SWEET RECEPTIONIST!!!!

The last time I seen a dentist was in 1989, it was not a good experience. I went to Scottsburg family dentistry to have 4 teeth removed.the dentist went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable before and during the procedure
