Dr. Hearn and staff did a thorough and professional job taking care of my aunt's extraction. Because of her health history, he took extra measures to minimize bleeding. And I appreciate that his staff followed up the day and after to make sure she was doing well and answer any questions.

Dr. Adams was amazing! My 11 year old daughter saw him on this recent visit. Our whole family goes to Valpo Family Dentistry and have always had different dentists without any issues.

This is the second time this dentist has failed to fix a cavity because "it's too small". We had to wait 3 months for the appointment to fix 2 cavities. My daughter has braces, so we also had to go to the orthodontist to have her wires removed beforehand and go back to have the wire put back on. Now they only did one cavity. Cavities don't go away. They only get bigger. The appointment was for 2 cavities not one. We will be getting a new dentist.

Great friendly comforting staff. I Had a root canal done, pain free experience from beginning to end.. I can honestly say that Valparasio Family Dentistry has made coming too the dentist a stress free, not scary experience. Thank you all .

If I could rate a zero I would. I had an appointment at 3:15 I did not get taken back in till 4:35 which is totally unacceptable you have a 10 minute minute grace period to make it to your appointment or You have to reschedule. But they get to take alllllllllll day to get you seen. what is the purpose of the appointment if I have to wait a hour and 10 minutes? And then to top it all off one of the optometrist was very Rude and rough with me I had to ask her to go and get someone else because I didn’t like the way she was handling me pretty much the moral of the story is that I didn’t leave that place until closing time which is totally ridiculous just for appointment to get my teeth clean and an x-ray I will not be returning.. The urgency and professionalism that goes on in this please is mortifying.

Not sure what happened to this place, but we won't be returning. My special needs daughter visited the adult practice for a 2nd opinion. We decided to visit here because she had wisdom teeth removed in the past, and figured they were trustworthy. They did a great job. This time, when seen by the adult dentist, she was referred to pediatrics because she has special needs and has a baby tooth. Shes 19. Waited a few weeks to see peds, only to have the dentist refuse to see her due to her age. He suggested we visit the office in Michigan City, which would've been another 2 week wait. The lack of communication was astounding. I refuse to let my daughter be shuffled around, and took her to another business that can properly care for her and not give her the runaround! The receptionist was nice and took care of us the best she could.

All the workers are friendly and helpful. The hygienist, Jennifer, was gentle, caring, and knowledgeable. Giving 4 stars because the automated reminder system was excessive. I didn't need 5 texts and 5 emails.

Each visit is always pleasant. The dentist’s, hygienist’s, staff, everyone is always friendly. Explanations are always thorough. I’ve always been asked if I have ANY questions. Everyone is very professional. I highly recommend Valparaiso Family Dentistry. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!

I have had some horrible traumatizing experiences with dentist but I felt welcome as soon as I walked in the door. The nurses and assistants were pleasant and to have such a difficult extraction done after visiting several dentist who couldn’t complete the job was amazing. This was one of the best dental experiences I’ve had .

Dr. Vaid is amazing! I was scared to have dental work done, and avoided sitting in the chair for years and years. She took her time, explained everything. Her calm demeanor puts me at ease. She treats you like family. I had dozens of cavities and she worked on a few at a time. I’m so happy today my last cavity was filled! I highly recommend her!!!
