We have been going to Pleasant Valley for several years. We have been seeing Dr. Pogue since he took over and he has been an exceptional Dentist for our family. He is patient, kind and takes time with his patients, especially children. Our kids love going to the dentist. The front office staff and the hygienists are exceptional, too. HIGHLY recommend.

The people here are wonderful, I had developed an infection and I called everywhere near me and most places were full til next month, or even til NEXT YEAR! I called pleasant valley hoping they’d be able to take a look at my issue and be able to at least take away the pain, I was able to be seen the SAME DAY. I left happy and pain free, thankfully to doctor Joshua and nurse lexy (sorry if it ends with an i) . I could not be any happier, thank you all so much!!!!

Having avoided a dental visit for a very long time, I was very nervous about my visit. The staff is very friendly and understands "dentist anxiety". My experience couldn't have been more positive. Michelle took the x-rays and various measurements and Dr. Pogue did a thorough exam and developed a treatment plan for me. I went back today for a cleaning. Allison did a great job and it was pain free. The whole process was easy and pleasant. I highly recommend them!

This was my third visit to Pleasant Valley Dentistry. As usual I was warmly greeted and promptly seen. I just needed an adjustment of my implants and Dr. Pogue made sure everything was correct and comfortable.
I have had some bad experiences with other dentists in the past and would put off seeing one until things got out of hand.
Dr. Pogue and his staff are so caring and compassionate that I actually look forward to my appointments. It is definitely worth the drive from Galesburg, Illinois.
