I had my 1st cavity ever (I'm 34) filled by Dr. Pogue and he did an amazing job! I didn't feel any discomfort or pain. He was also great with my 4 year old, who was not a fan of his last dentist. I'll be bringing him back for sure!

Pleasant Valley Dentistry is truly the gold standard as far as dentistry goes. I have been seen several times at this clinic, and each time I am greeted warmly and professionally by their front end staff (Ashley, et al). Their dental hygienists are so amazing: the most recent one I saw explained everything to me, including information about their cleaning procedures. It was just nice to feel informed and so well-taken care of. She was very sweet and incredibly personable.
Dr. Pogue himself is wonderful! He takes the time to go over alternatives for your treatment plans, including how and which ones will work best with your insurance plan. He is fabulous.
I would recommend Pleasant Valley Dentistry to both family and friends alike.

I have a serious fear of dentists to the point that I haven't been to one in over 5 years and just deal with tooth pain if it comes. I had to finally see one due to an abscessed tooth and I am SO glad I found Dr. Pogue! Hands down he is the nicest, kindest and most gentle dentist I have ever dealt with. Though my insurance isn't accepted there I have decided to continue seeing him. When you find a dentist you like, you stay with them. I recommend them to anyone and everyone, you have nothing to fear with Dr. Pogue as your dentist. Not to mention, pricing is very reasonable and he was kind enough to extend next month's offer to me this month due to the insurance issue!
