I was in search of a dentist for my 9 year old who had an abscessed tooth. Dr Ronconi's office told me to go to his pediatricians office and get an antibiotic. They then said they could schedule him in 3 weeks. I got in to the urgent care and got him an antibiotics and urgent care asked why the wouldn't get me in sooner to avoid another infection after the prescription was through. They told me to call and see if we could reschedule earlier. They did have a cancellation in a week. I scheduled it and then I received a call from a wonderful place called Shadow Creek Pediatric Dentist in Waukee. They took ALL FOUR of my children in the next day as new patients. They then, had me come the following day to have my son's tooth pulled. They were WONDERFUL! They went over an above and made me feel so comfortable. I called Dr. Ronconi's office to tell them that I needed to cancel and that his tooth was extracted on this day. The receptionist was not happy that I was cancelling and said she'd remove me from their office records for future visits. I shared that I wanted to leave on good terms. She said she would have to check with her office manager to see if that's doable!!! I called TWO days prior to our appointment to let them know this information. In my option, if they had the childs best interest at heart, they would have been glad to have heard that he got the problem fixed, NOT be so absorbed with how a cancellation would effect their day. I'm glad I saw this PRIOR to us making it through the front door! We were blessed to avoid further nonsense. Dont go!!

I was going to Ronconi and enjoyed getting my teeth cleaned and taken care of. I missed a appt due to myself and 2 family having COVID . I call to make a new appointment and the rude lady who answered said I was no call no show and have $60 to pay before I'm allowed back. Pretty sad when your down sick with COVID during a pandemic your treated this way. She also said my husband told her o didn't want to come which is not true. He knows I was down with COVID 14 days sick and barely breathing to charge people for being sick and with COVID before they can come back is u real. I'm sure I'll be taken to court over $60 Now. Shame on those business. I will be reporting to BBB Andy insurance company. Maybe they shouldn't except this dentist as a provider. And the rude lady at the desk needs a new job. 🙄 Time to find a more professional dentist. Thanks for being a jerk. I pray your family does not get COVID.

I love the doctor but they clearly need a friendlier front desk lady. Was a few minutes late and had to hear her rudely tell me about how I was 15 minutes late. I told her I thought they had a 15 minute late policy like most places and she was like our appointments are 30 minutes long. Politely told her I was sorry as I was not aware of that either. Then I had to listen to her tell every patient and staff that walked in that I was 15 minutes late!!! Rude and no confidentiality thanks!!! Smh

Was a great place to go too. Had an appointment today and they told me 2 in the afternoon got there at 1:50 and they told me it was at one. They then told me they'll have to send it to the committee and see if they can even get me in anymore for being late and charge me a few on top of that. Super disappointed Ronconis dental office. The older gal' I talked to was extremely rude to me about everything. Will never go there again and I would not recommend to anyone.

Absolutely awful receptionist. Not sure which one I talked to, but she was extremely rude and treated me like I was nothing. I was not able to make the appointment and was told I had to pay $60 up front if I wanted to reschedule. I don't live in town so wasn't sure how I was going to even pay that, if I wanted to. Dr, himself never talked to us while we were there. Did his thing and just left. Not impressed with any of it. Will no go back!

Best dentist I've ever been too. Truly cares about their patients and is honest and very professional!!! Dr. Ronconi is very personable and very funny!!! He made me laugh and made me feel at ease and not so nervous!!! Very friendly staff as well!!! Good atmosphere!!! I'm totally satisfied with the service and care I received here!!!

Been going here for years and the rude lady told me I can’t come here any longer all because I missed an appointment that they wrote down wrong ..I had to email them proof of appt card and they still deny me. This was my kids and me only dentist for years, but they want to treat me like that, I’ll let everyone know how they are.

Trying to schedule appointments for my 5 children but they won't see 5 members of the same family in one day. So I said ok we'll do the 3 little ones one day and the older 2 another day and they told me they would only see 2 members of the same family on the same day and if its 2 adults they would only see one. I don't know about anyone else but I like to get it all done in one day so I don't have to take time off work on multiple days.

I have gone to Dr. Ronconis office for many years. I trust him completely! They have worked with me many times over the years with appointments and with payment! Always satisfied with his work and his staff! Have recommended him many times!

I love going to Doctor Ronconi! He and his staff know what there doing, very confident going to get work done or for a cleaning! Everybody is super nice!
