The initial visit was pleasant and I left with my teeth feeling clean and feeling accomplished. Unfortunately this dental office was unclear about what my insurance covered. I asked several times, "Is this covered by my insurance?" and multiple times heard back, "yes." The surplus amount of X-rays they did (I believe it was 29) ended up costing me. After multiple phone calls and long discussions they said they would cover part of it. I still was required to pay over 100 dollars in co-pays.
I don't mind co-pays. What I do mind is being deceived. If they were unsure what was covered by my insurance they should have said so and given me an opportunity to look it up or call. The lack of communication and unfortunate deceit left me with a taste of frustration and betrayal in my mouth; along with some clean teeth.

Dr. Schminke and Avery were very helpful during my experience. They had to do an emergency pulp cap and did a excellent job with it. During the procedure they told me the ins and outs and showed me on camera what was happening.
