Growing Smiles

They are incredibly good at what they do! Very patient when my (at the time) 5 year old was nervous. She now loves going to the dentist. The staff works with me well and they are very kind! Won’t go anywhere else.

We have been going to Growing Smiles for 7 years. I have NEVER had an unpleasant experience. The staff is so friendly and always make sure to educate me on my children’s teeth with each visit. The office staff is very good about informing me of potential costs associated with various treatments before they do them so I can make the best decision for our family. My kids ask me routinely when they get to go back to their dentist because they like it so much!

Our experiences at Growing Smiles with Dr. Henderson and her team have been extraordinary with dental cleaning/exam as well as a multiple tooth extraction (5!). On both occasions we found the staff to be exceptional: clearly well educated in their fields with well-planned systems and communication with the child patient's lasting impression at the fore. Despite dental complexities, the team's subtle communication with each other enabled smooth transitions and procedures such that our appointments were finished with calm, thorough simplicity. The soothing feel of this office is airy, calm and playful without the stress of frenetic cheer/chaos that one can find in spaces designed for children. Highly recommend...

I would not recommend this practice. The dental assistants were great with my kids and the office is clean but be prepared for surprise bills. They will give you a detailed estimate. You will pay hundreds on the day of the procedures and then three months later you will get another bill for hundreds of dollars. They put all the blame on insurance and not how they presented everything. The estimate was actually not based on any real numbers though they felt it was real enough to collect on the day of the procedures. Our dental insurance wouldn’t even cover two yearly cleaning with what they are charging so we maxed out our benefits before even going into cavities and they let us schedule the procedures believing they would be somewhat covered by the information they gave us. Cindy was suppose to call me back and never did. They just sent another bill with a “Professional courtesy” of 50 dollars taken off. Very unprofessional and predatory business practices going on here and it is a shame to take advantage of families in these hard times.

I have been taking my four kiddos to Growing Smiles for several years. The 30 minute drive down the turnpike is more than worth it. My children have had great experiences and have no fear of going to the dentist. The facility is super cute and super clean, my kids love the play area and tablets. I love that they can accommodate all of my kids at the same time and we are in and out quickly. Best dentist and staff around!

We had a great experience here. My daughter is 4 and she had her very #first dentist appointment last week. She is #autistic and has a rough time waiting. They have a play area for kids to climb on, a slide, and tablets, for kids to use while they wait. Light colors and nothing too bright or overstimulating. All the staff was very kind and understanding. The hygienist explained to her what each tool was before using it, she asked what her toothpaste flavor was at home so it was the same. She asked us what things our daughter did not like and about her ticks and what might cause her to be upset. She let her pick which toothbrush she wanted. My daughter had a meltdown waiting for the doctor to come in. Once the doctor did come and get to look at her teeth she said she looked good and my husband took our daughter to the play area. Then the dentist started asking what they could do next time to help her have a better time. Outstanding service. They really care. My husband and i were blown away with their sincerity and the time they took to help our child have the best experience that she could. She did way better than we expected and we believe it is because of the #compassionate staff. Highly recommended.

My son had been doing “happy visits” for the past 2 years with our family dentist, but his anxiety kept them from being productive exams. We decided to try Growing Smiles and it made all the difference. He finally got through a cleaning and x-rays, and had to have 2 crowns placed with conscious sedation. They walked us through step-by-step what would happen, and made this a much better experience for our son than we ever could have imagined. Dr.Henderson, Kim, Tanya, and the entire staff were so helpful and caring. This was a great choice for our son and we feel he was in great hands!

We have been coming to Growing Smiles for over 10 years with both of my children. The staff has always been very caring and kind, and make sure that their patients are comfortable before starting any procedure. Dr Henderson is amazing and is great with children of all abilities! Would highly recommend Growing Smiles!

We love Growing Smiles! The staff is always so calm, gentle and caring. Procedures are explained and questions are answered confidently. My daughter enjoys going to the dentist even if a procedure is needed. There is plenty for children to do while waiting their turn. I love that the ladies come out and get your child, greet you as the parent and ask you if you have any questions or concerns and tell you what's going on during the visit instead of just hollering your child's name from the doorway. When my daughter goes back I am completely confident that she is in good hands and she always returns with a smile!

We visited Growing Smiles for our 2-year-old son's first dental appointment. We were anxious wondering how it might go, but we were at ease the moment we stepped into the waiting room. It's a wonderful atmosphere that our son loved and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us despite us being late. Judy was exceptional and really took the time to help our son feel comfortable, and introduce him to all of the gadgets in fun toddler friendly ways. Needless to say--our expectations were blown out of the water!! Thank you Growing Smiles.
